While we are only 75 days away from Christmas, we are still in the Fall season and I love fall. I love the colors of the leaves and the crisp cool mornings. Here in St. Louis we get a lot of humidity, so the fall coolness is always a welcome treat. And speaking of treats, you have to love those caramel apples, the fresh apple cider and of’ course homemade applesauce. My Grandma Dorothy made the best homemade apple sauce, God rest her soul. To tell the truth once I had her homemade goodness I was never able to have store bought applesauce again. She also made the most amazing pumpkin squares and homemade caramel popcorn.
