Autumn Wishes – Rustic Harvest

I hope you have had a chance to check out the gorgeous paper in the Rustic Harvest paper pack featured in the July – December Holiday catalog. It is the perfect pack for creating cards for the fall. I love the colors and the fun fall patterns. For today’s card I used a 3-7/8 x 4-3/8 piece of the floral paper and added a panel of Daffodil Delight and then a layer of Merry Merlot.

My card base is also Merry Merlot and although I probably did not need the extra layer of Merry Merlot, I like how it turned out. I cut the butterfly from the paper using my paper snips and added it in the center of the flower. The greeting is heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I am pleased with how this card turned out, but I think if I create this card again I will use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add that last layer to the card front, just to give it a bit more depth.
