Still At the Beach-Favorite Things Friday

Yay, it’s Friday and I decided why not continue the beach theme, especially now that the weather is warming up. The only thing better than relaxing at the beach would be swimming in the ocean, or anywhere really, as long as there aren’t any sharks! LOL

Today’s card features the Seas the Day Bundle and the Ocean Front stamp set. I created the beach scene first, added a sunset and used the largest die from the bundle to add some depth to the front of my card. I used the 1″ circle punch to create a sunset mask and applied Daffodil Delight ink using a sponge dauber.

Sweet Friend-Favorite Things Friday

Wow I cannot believe it is already Friday, and Good Friday at that. Can you believe that April is already half over? Easter time is one of my favorite times of the year because it is a good excuse to bake something sweet. This year my parents are coming over for brunch so I plan to make homemade cinnamon rolls.

My card today is a tribute to all those bakers in your life and features the Measure of Love stamp set. It is not only a fun and easy card, it is very colorful too!

I began with a Pacific Point cards base and added a layer of Pear Pizzazz and Melon Mambo. The white panel was cut using the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss machine and the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The bowls are stamped with Pacific Point, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz inks, and yes, I fussy cut the bowls with my paper snips.

Arrange the bowls along the side and stamp the greeting with Pacific Point ink. Add a layer of white to the inside and feel free to decorate the inside with other bowl.

Project Supplies and Measurements

  • Pacific Point CS- 5½ x 8½ (card base),
  • Pear Pizzazz CS- 3½ x 4½
  • Melon Mambo CS- 3¼ x 4¼

You Really Measure Up!

Sometimes life is not a bowl of cherries, but today’s card is, actually three bowls! What could be better than that?

If you have a good friend, I am sure he or she would appreciate getting this sweet card in the mail. I created this card using the Measure of Love stamp set. Hopefully you have this one in your stamping stash!

I began with the retiring Misty Moonlight In-Color as my card base and then added a layer of Real Red cardstock. I then stamped three bowls with Misty Moonlight ink on some Basic White scrap and fussy cut using my paper snips! Yes, fussy cut, but the bowls are really easy and it makes it so much quicker to stamp the cherries first and then add the bowls on top.

The scale, greeting and cherries are stamped directly to the Basic White CS panel and layered to the card front.

Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Boughs and Blossoms Birthday Wishes

Today I am featuring two bundles that are in the January -June 2022 mini catalog. Both of these bundles will be retiring in June.

I began with a Soft Succulent card base and added a layer of Petal Pink. The leaves are stamped with Soft Succulent ink and the flowers with Petal Pink. And yes, I fussy cut the flowers and leaves using my Paper Snips.

The greeting is from Artfully Layered and I stamped it on some Basic White cardstock using Memento Black ink and then punched it out with the Everyday Label punch. Oh man am I ever going to miss this punch!

Project Supplies and Measurements

  • Soft Succulent CS- 5½ x 8½ (card base),
  • Petal Pink CS- 4 x 5¼
  • Basic White CS- 5½ x 8½, 4 x 5¼
  • Boughs and Blossoms Bundle
  • Artfully Layered Bundle
  • Soft Succulent Ink
  • Petal Pink Ink
  • Memento Black Ink
  • Everyday Label Punch
  • Stampin’ Seal Adhesive or Liquid Glue

I love how this card turned out. At first I was not really a fan of the Petal Pink cardstock and ink, but the more I use it the more I love it, especially when it is paired with Soft Succulent. I hope today’s card inspires you to bless others with your creativity.

There is still time to get some of the retiring products from the 2022 annual catalog, but hurry supplies are selling out quickly. If you place an order that is less than $150, please use our April host code.

Sunflower Birthday-Favorite things Friday

One of my favorite things beside celebrating birthday and sunflowers, is spending time with family. I am so thankful for the last few days of being able to spend time with my mom, unfortunately, that time was spent in the Cancer Infusion Center, the ER and then the hospital. So I hope you understand why my post today is late.

As many of you already know my mom is battling cancer and this week her platelets and blood levels dropped to a dangerous level, so we spent the last few days together getting her juiced back up. Praise God, she is feeling much better and is now resting comfortable at home. God is so good! Any prayers you all can offer on our behalf would be greatly appreciated.

Now onto that favorite Sunflower Birthday card!

Today’s card was created with the retiring In-Color cardstock, Bumblebee. I used the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and stamped all images in Memento Black ink. The large sunflowers are stamped on a second layer of Bumblebee cardstock that measures 3¾ x 4½.

The small sunflowers and the splatter is stamped on a 2¾ x 4 Basic White panel that is mounted on some Early Espresso cardstock, 2-7/8 x 4-1/8. I attached the panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sunflowers are colored with the Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider Alcohol Blend markers. I added some Matte Black dots for a little more dimesnion.

I hope you enjoy today’s card and again sorry for the late post.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae
