Simply Zinnia Bundle

Last week I posted a video from Stampin’ Up! featuring the Simply Zinnias Collection. Click here if you missed that. This is an amazing bundle and I have to admit the paper is pretty great. Here are just a few cards created by Stampin’ Up! using this collection.

I am usually not a sequin girl but I have to say they look pretty great on these card and really seem to add that needed pop! Did you know that you can purchase the colored sequins separately? I mean these are pretty colorful so you might need a second pack! Right?

Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins

These cards were all created using a little bit of everything from the collection. I am amazed at how detailed the embossing folder is. One of the tips Stampin’ Up! shared is to use watercolor paper with the embossing folder to get an even deeper detailed look. Very cool! Happy Stamping!

Planted Paradise-Make It Monday #155

Do you love potted plants? I do, I just cannot keep them alive, so I really love the Planted Paradise stamp set, it is totally safe for me. LOL I created three cards today with varying degrees of difficulty but all doable for the beginner stamper. All you need is a stamp set, some ink and of course our Paper Snips!

Yes, this stamp set does not come with a punch or dies and so it is a fussy cut project. Don’t worry, the images are all super easy to cut out and I cannot say it enough but our Paper Snips are the bomb and will make it so much easier for you, trust me! Actually don’t trust me, order a pair for yourself, try them out, and let me know what you think!

Remember, if you want a lighter look for your leaves, stamp off first. The second generation image gives a more subtle look.

Enjoy creating this card with a variety of colors. I love the look of the Sketched Plaid Background stamp and Yay, it is carrying over to the new catalog.

I love the look of the Gorgeous Grape and the Melon Mambo inks together. It make a rich looking card, don’t you agree? Have fun creating, I am sure you will come up with some amazing cards to share with your family and friends. Happy Stamping!

Spring Stamping With Friends-Favorite Things Friday!

Good morning all, not only is it Friday but it is time for another card class at Mother of Good Counsel Home, an assisted living/nursing care center in my neighborhood. It is run by the Franciscan Sisters of the Martyr St. George and it is one of my favorite card classes.

I thought I would share with you the three cards that I created for today’s class. I try to keep things as simple as I can as I typically have 10 residents attend. Some of the products you see are retired, others are not, but hey at least you get the card idea-right?

Card #1

I created the Eggs ahead of time so all the residents had to do was add them to the card front. Sorry my image looks a little dull at the bottom, I must have gotten some excess glue on it. Oh well, homemade, right?

Card #2

Stamp Set: Something Fancy

This is one of those fracture cards. I thought it would be fun and maybe just a bit too intricate, so I created the front panel ahead of time and all they have to do is stamp the thank you and add the panel to the card front. Easy Peasy!

Stamp Set: Good Feelings

This is a super easy but totally cool one. It is hard to see in the photo but there is a glitter stripe next to all the colors. I think they will like the extra bling! I hope you pull out your crafting supplies and create a card to bless someone today. Happy Stamping. Don’t forget about the retiring stamp sets, paper, tools, and bling in the mini and annual catalogs. CLICK HERE if you missed that post.

It’s A Jungle Out There-Make It Monday #146

Hey folks we are in the final days of our Sale-A-Bration event and today I am sharing a card I created using the Jungle Pals stamp set and coordinating dies. You can get one or both of these FREE as part of the Sale-a-Bration catalog. Each free item requires a $50 order, so go ahead and download the catalogs and start making that list. Just click on the catalog images below. Hurry because the sale ends on February 28th!

Jungle Pals Stamp Set and Dies

Click here or on the image below to view the video of the three cards I created using the Jungle Pals Sale-a-Bration stamp set and dies.

These little jungle pals make great birthday cards. The sweet toucan bird is my absolute favorite. The alligator is cute too but seriously only in this stamped image because a real alligator is more dark brown then green. After all they do live in the swamp.

Here is a closer look at today’s cards!

Card # 1 Tiger
Card #2 Toucan Thank You
Card # 3 Toucan Birds Happy Birthday

You can color these sweet critters with our Stampin Blend markers or watercolor pencils. Be sure to add a pack of the Blender pens to your stamping stash, they make water coloring so much more fun! Have fun playing around with the combos for the perfect shading. Happy Stamping!

Fresh As A Daisy ~ Favorite Things Friday!

Hey there my stamping friends. I am back today with another favorite designer series paper pack from the 2023-2024 annual catalog, Fresh As A Daisy. This amazing paper pack with make card making an daisies just happens to be one of my favorite flowers.

I love the softness of the Boho Blossom daisies in this paper and so I started with a Boho Blossom card base. I chose Cajun Craze ink to compliment the background color in this sheet of designer series paper.

I used the dies in the Perennial Postage bundle to crop a Boho Bloom and Basic White layer. The greeting that I stamped with Cajun Craze ink is from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set.

I guess you can already tell that one of my favorite new bundles is the Perennial Postage Bundle. Get a free Sale-a-Bration stamp set or paper pack when you place an order for this bundle or any $50 order. Just click on the images below. Happy Stamping!

Thank You-Garden Meadow Favorite Things Friday

If you have not checked out the variety of online exclusive bundles, now is the time. Garden Meadow is one of those bundles you will not want to miss. I created a Thank you card for todays post, and will be back on Monday with three more card creations with this bundle for my Make It Monday video tutorial. Click here for my You Tube channel featuring all my past videos.

Garden Meadow Bundle

I began with a Basic White card and added a layer of Blueberry Bushel, but before I added it to my card front, I cropped the arch die from the bundle.

I stamped the “thank you” greeting from Trusty Tools in Blueberry Bushel ink. The wheel barrel is stamped with Memento Black ink and cropped with the coordinating die. One of the great things about this bundle is that there is a die to cut out all the images (except the greetings). I used a variety of Stampin’ Blend Combo markers to add some color and added the image to the card front using our famous Tombo liquid glue.

I hope this Favorite Things Friday bundle inspires you to create something beautiful today. Happy Stamping!
