Happy Monday and a holiday at that! I hope you had a good weekend with family. Hopefully you saved some energy for crafting because I have a treat for you. Today’s cards were created using the new All Wrapped Up specialty designer series paper pack and trust me this paper will definitely assist you in creating something beautiful to share. Pinwheel Patch – Quilting w/Scraps Part 3-Make It Monday

Happy Monday! I am back with part 3 of our 4 part series, Quilting w/Paper Scraps. It has been very satisfying using up some of my favorite scrap papers in this series. Today’s pinwheel card is super easy. I know it looks complicated, but as long as you don’t use a ton of adhesive on the first round, you will be just fine.

This may seem like a complicated quilt patch, but trust me it is not. I created three different cards for today’s video and all I needed was 8 little 1-1/4 inch squares of my designer series paper scraps. Use a punch or paper cutter to create your squares. Choose two different coordinating papers for a fun pinwheel look.

Happy Monday my friends. I am here today with part one of a four part series that I am calling Quilting with Scraps. Over the next two weeks I will be sharing with you some fun techniques on how to use your patterned paper scraps to create some beautiful quilt looking cards. In today’s video, part one, I will be teaching you how to create the star quilting pattern look.

I stumbled across several video with this pattern piece, some of them actual quilting videos and some that used only paper. I liked Kristina Ree’s video and am using her template and technique to share with you today. Thanks Kristina for inspiring us! Whether you are a quilter, or a quilt admirer I am sure you will enjoy today’s video.
