Happy Monday. Wow, I cannot believe we are more than 1/2 way through September and it is still very warm in St. Louis. We have had temperature in the upper 90’s with heat indexes as high as 103. Today’s card is all about fall and features the Lustrous Leaves Bundle and I cannot tell you how much I am so looking forward to fall and some cooler sweater/sweatshirt weather.

You are going creating multicolor leaf designs with the Lustrous Leaves Bundle. The bundle includes Hot Foil dies for adding shimmering and metallic accents, plus coordinating masks with alignment notches for easy layering. Welcome to another week of crafting and card making. Today I am sharing 3 cards that I created using the new Welcome Noel Bundle. These fun houses will be sure to add a special element to your holiday greeting cards. I did not get the dies that go with this bundle as I do love fussy cutting and these dies are super easy to cut. However, if you do get the bundle, then your windows will also be cut out. A great added benefit as that is a bit too fussy for even me. It depends on the look you want. Either way, they are stinkin’ cute houses.

Pinwheel Patch – Quilting w/Scraps Part 3-Make It Monday

Happy Monday! I am back with part 3 of our 4 part series, Quilting w/Paper Scraps. It has been very satisfying using up some of my favorite scrap papers in this series. Today’s pinwheel card is super easy. I know it looks complicated, but as long as you don’t use a ton of adhesive on the first round, you will be just fine.

This may seem like a complicated quilt patch, but trust me it is not. I created three different cards for today’s video and all I needed was 8 little 1-1/4 inch squares of my designer series paper scraps. Use a punch or paper cutter to create your squares. Choose two different coordinating papers for a fun pinwheel look.
