Christmas 2020

Attitude of Gratitude

Well, it is officially Black Friday, not that there will be many opportunities for in person shopping today. Here is St. Louis, the stores are open, but operating a minimum capacity so I guess I will be doing most of my shopping online.  Although yesterday was Thanksgiving, I could not resist the Snowflake Wishes, Thanks Snow Much stamp. After all if we have been good little boys and girls then we might need some Christmas Thank you cards, Right?

I started with a Whisper White card base embossed with the Winter Snow embossing folder on top and to the bottom added a layer of designer series paper from my pack, Feels Like Frost. I added a strip of Smoky Slate cardstock and added a few basic pearls. The sentiment is stamped in Smoky Slate on a Whisper White square layered on a Smoky Slate square and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Again, I added a few pearls to the sentiment.

I stamped the inside greeting and bundle of snowflakes in Smoky Slate ink. I really do love how the Smoky Slate gives a silver appearance. I hope you have fun shopping. If you need more crafting supplies, I would be happy to serve as your Stampin’ UP! demonstrator. As always, until next time, be Blessed!
Stamping Hugs and Blessings,
Renae

Joy to the World!

Here is a fun Joy card to spruce up your holiday season. I have seen several versions of this on the internet and have no idea who to credit, sorry about that, but whomever it is, I am sure he/she would be proud to have you CASE this card. By the way if you are not familiar with the term CASE, it is what we crafters lovingly refer to as Copy And Share Everything. After all it really is about making new friends, in person and virtual, and of course having a good time crafting!

This card features the Tag Buffet stamp set and the card base is in Misty Moonlight. highlighted it with a touch of Rich Razzelberry, (4 x 5 1/4), followed by another layer of Misty Moonlight (3 3/4 x 5). The Whisper White is cut from the Stitches So Sweetly Die set. I used the stocking stamp for the J, the ornament stamp for the O, and the leaf branch stamp to create the Y. All the coloring is done with the Stampin’ Blends.

The inside is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on Whisper White (4 x 5 1/4) using the sentiment from Peaceful Boughs. I also added a leaf branch and colored it with the Old Olive blends. I know I have mentioned once or twice (LOL) how much I love this sentiment from Peaceful Boughs and I am praying that the spirit of peace really does fill your home this holiday season.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Please feel free to leave a comment, I love the feedback. Hope you will join me again tomorrow, until then, be Blessed!
Stamping Hugs and Blessings,
Renae

Spread A Little Joy

Today’s card is all about the joy of snowflakes. I started with a Balmy Blue card base and added a diagonal of Whisper White embossed with the Winter Snow embossing folder. Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine, I cut snowflakes from the Snow Wishes Bundle in Balmy Blue Glitter paper and some Whisper White cardstock. I layered the snowflakes along the diagonal and added a few random dots cuts from the Balmy Blue Glitter paper.

The Joy is also cut from the Balmy Blue Glitter paper using the Joy Die set. The inside of my card is a layer of Whisper White (4 x 5 1/4) stamped with Balmy Blue ink using the sentiment from the Snow Wishes Bundle. I wanted to carry through my snowflake theme to the inside so I added a large snowflake from the Joy Die set.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed today’s creation and will stop back tomorrow for some more crafting fun. If you would like to order any supplies, just click on the add cart button below. If your order is less than $150, don’t forget to use the host code:  9EDAFR74

Holiday Peace

And I know we can all use a little “Holiday Peace” this year, so I hope this card provides just that!

This card was another inspiration from a St. Louis virtual stamping event that I made for a make and take presentation. We are hosting another virtual event in January so if you are interested in joining us, just drop me a comment below, include your email and I will be sure you get an invite.

This card features the Peace and Joy Bundle as well as the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper, which is a returning favorite from last year. I really like how they brought back some of the specialty papers this year and hope there will more favorite returns next year.

I started my card with Very Vanilla and I added a layer of Night of Navy that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine using the Tasteful Textile 3-D embossing folder. The “Peace” from the Peace and Joy bundle is cut using the Copper Foil sheets.

I love how it matches the copper design in the paper! The ornament is cut from the designer series paper pack using the larger ornament from the Gleaming Ornament Punch Pack. Wow! That is fun to say…….and even more fun to play with, so go ahead order your Gleaming Punch Pack today!

I cut a square of Very Vanilla using the largest square from the Stitched Shape Dies and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine using the Absolutely Argyle embossing folder. The accent square is cut from the Copper Foil sheets, 1/8″ bigger than the embossed square.

The pine cones, bough and inside greeting are from the Peaceful Boughs Bundle. I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy and added a bow with the linen thread to my dual pine cones on the outside and single one in the inside.

I just love this greeting, it might be my favorite Christmas sentiment for the inside of a card. What’s your favorite Christmas greeting, stamp set or bundle of all time?

Thank for stopping by! Hope you will join me back here tomorrow, until then Be Blessed!

Seasons Greetings In the Pines

I think the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper is one of our most versatile paper packs. I have posted several cards using it with a fall themed card, so today I used it to create a little Christmas plaid with a card base of Garden Green. This card features the In the Pines Bundle with the trees in Garden Green and Shaded Spruce.

I added some of our Red Gems to bling it up a bit. The plaid piece measures 2 1/2 x 4 1/4″ with a 3/8″ by 4 1/4″ strip of Cherry Cobbler across the top. I added some linen thread for a woodsy look and the greeting is in Cherry Cobbler cut from the Snow Wonder Bundle die.

For the inside I stamped the greeting from For Unto Us in Cherry Cobbler and added a strip of Cherry Cobbler and the matching Christmas Plaid from the Plaid Tidings paper pack. This is a great card for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Until next time, be Blessed!

Stitched Triangle Trees

Today’s card was born out of a St. Louis Virtual stamping event that I helped my friend Sally Nusbaum put on this past fall. It was a lot of fun and Sally is a hoot! She is very creative and has a generous heart. She is a blessing in my life. Since this was a virtual event, no stamped images were allowed in the kits, so the main focus of this card is the Stitched Triangles used to create the trees.

For my banner greeting, I used the Itty Bitty Christmas set and stamped in Garden Green ink on Very Vanilla, with an added banner accent of Real Red. I love all the greetings in this amazing go-to set. They are also great for making tags too! Hurry, you might want to add it to your Christmas collection before it is gone.

Itty Bitty Christmas

This card also features the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper, which was a returning favorite from last year! Check it out, I am pretty sure it is not coming back again!

Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper

The card base is Real Red with a layer of green plaid (4 x 5 1/4) from the Toile Tidings paper pack. The trees are cut using the Stitched Triangle Die and coordinating green colors in the Toile Tidings. The middle tree is embossed using the Wrapped in texture embossing folder with Garden Green cardstock.

The bottom red square is cut at 4 x 4″ with a 1/2 x 4″ strip of Garden Green at the top followed by a 3 1/8 x 3 7/8 layer of Very Vanilla. The layer directly under the trees is from the Tis the Season Designer Series pack and measures 3 x 3 3/4.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Feel free to leave a comment! Join me tomorrow for some more crafting fun! Until then, be Blessed!

Christmas Inking Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s November Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Christmas, which – believe it or not – is just around the corner. Please prepare yourself for lots of beautiful projects that share the joy of this holiday. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I just have to say that I love being an InKing Royal!!!!

As soon as I saw the NEW Snowflake Wishes Bundle, I knew I had to have it. Here is what I created using this bundle and the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper. I cannot resist Snowflakes and Snowmen! Anyone else share my addiction???  Come on, be honest!!!  There are worse things! LOL

Card Front

I used the Winter Snow Embossing folder to accent the right of the card, which I think pairs beautiful with all of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Papers. I added a small strip of Silver Metallic ribbon to hide the seam and the greeting in Smoky Slate on the Whisper White cardstock that I cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies. I added three small pearls that compliment the designer series paper and the ribbon. I love the soft and elegant look!  Don’t you?

Inside Card

For the inside I stamped a Christmas sentiment and the snowflakes in Smoky Slate. The sentiment is from the new Snow Wonder set. Yup, you guessed it another Snowman Set!!!! You can never have too many Snowmen! Right?

Outside of Envelope
Envelope Flap

I enjoy decorating the outside and flaps of my envelopes and I challenge you to do the same! You never know it might just put a little joy in your mail carriers day! I also made this cute little tag with the tiny snowflakes from the bundle. It is just perfect for any holiday gift!  The die cut is using Whisper White cardstock and the Tasteful Labels. I layered it on a Smoky Slate Oval and used the To and From stamp sets from the Tag Buffet stamp set. The Tag Buffet set is great for making all kinds of holiday tags!

Simple Tag great for any gift!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop Laura Kreuger, The Stamp Coach. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! I hope you will stop back tomorrow for some more crating fun. Until next time, be blessed

Sliver Bells…..Silver Bells….

I don’t know what it is about silver bells, but I just love them, especially at this time of the year. When my kids were little we would put up an “Angel” tree in the toy room. At least that is what we called it because we hung all kinds of angel ornaments on it. I also hung small silver bells and blue ornaments on it. I think it is time to bring back those silver bells, but until then this card will have to do! Today’s card features the Cherish the Season Bundle, with you guessed it Silver Bells!

I started with a card base of Misty Moonlight cardstock and added a 2 1/4″ x 5 1/2′ strip of Smoky Slate. For some fun texture I layered a piece of Misty Moonlight (2 x 5 1/4) that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine using the Old World 3-D Embossing folder. I heat embossed the bells on Smoky Slate cardstock with the VersaMark ink and silver embossing powder.

The Merry Christmas greeting from the Tag Buffet set is also heat embossed with the silver embossing powder. I added a Misty Moonlight bow on the double bells and off set two of the smaller bells, one on each side. This is a perfect set for using the heat emboss tool. So today’s challenge is for you to dig out your heat tool and create something beautiful.

If you don’t have a heat tool, no worries, I am happy to help with that! Just click on the add to cart button below and it will be added to your shopping cart. Add or delete whatever items work for you. I so appreciate your order as I hope to advance to the next level of sales before Christmas, fingers crossed! Tis the Season to Ring the Bells

Have you checked out the NEW 6 x 6 Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper? Today I used a sheet of the Cherry Cobbler stripes and the Cherish the Season Bundle to create this adorable card. My card base is Shaded Spruce with a layer of Shaded Spruce and Whisper White on top of the Designer Series Paper.

I heated embossed the bells with Silver Embossing powder on Smoky Slate cardstock. I really like how they turned out. The Tis the Season greeting is from Tag Buffet, stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.

I really love this Merry Christmas stamp from the Tag Buffet set. I finished off the inside with one of the small bells from the bundle, again, it is heat embossed with the Silver Embossing powder.

Christmas Bells

With Thanksgiving less than 2 weeks away I started thinking about making my Christmas cards. It seems if I do not get them made and ready to mail before decorating, I run out of time! This year there are so many wonderful Christmas bundles to choose from, which is great, but then again, I can’t decide. Maybe I will make a wide variety!

Today’s cards features bells from the Cherish the Season Bundle and the Joy from the Joy Dies. Our Cherry Cobbler cardstock is so elegant and doesn’t even have any calories! LOL

I began with a Whisper White card base and added a thin layer of Cherry Cobbler. Using the Cut and Emboss machine I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. I really love how the softness of these snowflakes brings out the elegance of this card.

I cut a square of Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White using the Layering Squares. The bells and the holly sprigs are cut from Shaded Spruce using the Cherish the Season Bundle. I added a Gold Metallic bow to the top of the bells.

TIP: This gold ribbon frays quite a bit, which I love when making tags, but not so much when it comes to bows for a card. I put a tiny bit of liquid glue on the both ends after cutting to stop the fraying.

Thanks for stopping by! Join me again tomorrow for more crafting tips and ideas. Until then, be blessed!
