Thank you to all who have been praying for my niece Hayley.
It is with great sadness that we had to say good-bye to our sweet angel, yesterday. Hayley was a lover of all animals and lover of life, with so much joy and energy. She put up a good fight and now we are asking our God of mercy wrap her and her family in his loving arms and surround them with the Holy Spirit. Hayley, you were and will continue to be a beacon of joy for all of us. May your soul find rest! Until we meet again, we love you!
May God bless all you prayer warriors, I so appreciate the prayers for my niece. She is a fighter and while she is still in a coma and doctors do not believe she will ever wake up or breathe on her own, doctors can be wrong. So we are waiting in hopeful trust. My heart is breaking for my brother, his wife, and their family. This has certainly been a Lenten cross and we are so thankful for all the prayers. Sorry I did not have time to create a video post for today.
Please continue to pray for this beautiful soul as this weekend she will need to be taken off the ventilator. Keep fighting Hayley, I know you are going to prove the doctors wrong. We love you sweetie.
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae
Happy Wednesday all. I hope you are having a blessed week. Today we are playing with an online exclusive set, Elements of Text. This is a great set to add a muted background to many of our current stamp sets. I am using Spotlight on Nature for todays card, but I can also see using it with Beautiful Butterflies, Textured Notes, Sketched Butterflies, and Thoughtful Wishes, just to name a few. LOL
Start with a colored card base of your choice. I used Pretty in Pink and Misty Moonlight for today’s cards. Add a coordinating layer of cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 to the card front. I chose Basic Black for my pink card and Crumb Cake for the Misty Moonlight version. You will need a layer of white for stamping that measures 3-3/4 x 5. I used Pretty In Pink and Crumb Cake ink for my cards today-see video for details. The greeting is from Simply Said, and yes, it is one of my favorite greetings sets in the 2024-2025 annual catalog.
As always you can add 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White to the inside and decorate as desired. Since the Pretty in Pink cardstock is light, I am not going to add a white panel to that one, but again that is totally your choice. There are no mistakes in stamping, only creative opportunities. Go ahead, think outside the box and add some bling. Everyone’s taste is different and that is what makes stamping with friends so much fun! Happy Stamping!
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae
Hello friends and Happy Monday. We continue to pray for my niece Hayley who is still in ICU, unresponsive. A few weeks ago she had a brain biopsy and was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. She now has a brain bleed and they are concerned about excess fluid in her lungs. We are praying for a complete healing miracle through Sr. Clare Crockett, All or Nothing. If you feel called, please join me in praying for this gentle soul, this beautiful angel.
I hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial. This is such a fun stamp set with coordinating dies. There are so many more dies than stamps, so do check it out. After all crafting, regardless of what kind, is totally therapeutic. So in the name of relaxation and enjoyment, be sure to order your set today. Happy Stamping!

Today is the feast day of St. Joseph and a perfect day for a miracle!

Have you ever created with reversible stamps? The new Natural Botanicals stamp set is a reversible stamp. This gives you twice as many options to create with a few simple stamps. See how you can create cards using the two-step stamping technique with these unique reversible stamps.
In my humble opinion the two large stamps do not align perfectly, so you might have to get creative on how you use those, but the smaller ones work great. Happy Stamping!

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Losing my mom two years ago was very difficult, but somehow we managed to united our suffering with my Dad has he mourned the lost of his beloved wife of 68 years. And now, how does one say that last final good-bye.
I hope to be back with my Make it Monday and Weekly Wednesday videos later this month because my Dad loved my card creations and always asked about my card classes. Although he was not a techy guy, he did manage to watch a few of my videos (mostly when I pulled them up for him-hahaha), but whether or not he saw my post for the day, he thought I was creative and was always supportive of my dream to be a professional card maker. LOL

What will I miss about my Dad? The simple answer, everything!!! The hole in my heart is deep and wide.
Growing up, I remember playing touch football on the cobble streets of Springfield, Illinois as he whispered the next play while drawing it on his hand. I also remember beating some of the college guys who lived on our street! I was only in second grade, but my dad thought that was great. Maybe he should have been a football coach. Sorry Bears, too late!
I remember living on Lake Camelot and the excitement of getting up before dawn to go fishing. He didn’t talk much back then so we caught a lot of fish. LOL
I remember getting in trouble when I was in first grade for playing in the mud, but honestly some mistakes are just worth it.
I remember the excitement and love on his face when both of my children were born.
I will miss our talks about family history and things of days gone by.
I will miss being together and yet saying nothing.
I will miss your advice from painting, to replanting trees, to trapping groundhogs.
I will miss our talks about mom, the faith, and what heaven is like.
I will miss your quiet smile, long sighs, and your gentle laugh.
I will miss our morning Masses, coffee time, and holding your hand during the “Our Father”.
Dad, I will never forget the pain and sorrow that filled your heart when mom left you to be with Jesus and now my heart feels that same pain, maybe even more now. While my faith will see me through and His grace will always be sufficient, I will never forget you or your love.
It is now time to navigate a new normal, but I know my life will never be the same. Thank you for loving me and for helping me grow. Until we met again, I love you Dad!
Hello my stamping friends. I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving. There will not be a Make it Monday or a Weekly Wednesday video for the next few weeks. I am sad to say I lost my Dad suddenly on Tuesday, November 26th, so I will be taking some time to grieve with my family. There is so much more to do now than when my Mom passed two years ago.
I hope to be back in the swing of posting again, hopefully on the 16th! Thank you for your understanding. Until then, be blessed!

Hey all I am back with another Weekly Wednesday video. Since last month was the big paper sale, I thought I would share a technique for you to use with your new paper stash. This technique really is a quick and easy way to create a variety of cards in five minutes. Check out the video below. I promise, it is short and simple!

A Closer look…
Now here is a closer look at the Perennial Lavender paper pack that I used to create this card. The only trick to this technique is to be sure that you have coordinating colors on both sides of your paper. Stampin’ Up! does an amazing job at providing that for us. If for some reason you want to use two different sheets, no problem, just be sure to cut them to be 4 x 6 before you rip and then have fun mixing and matching.
Today’s Card, Supplies, and Measurements:
Gorgeous Grape CS- 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Gorgeous Grape Ink Basic White CS-3 x 3 Perennial Lavender DSP- 4 x 6 -rip and flip Deckled Circle Dies Stampin’ Cut n Emboss Machine Adhesive-my fav is our Liquid Glue Stampin’ Dimensionals
Love, Love, Love this paper. Again, just be sure to cut your designer series paper a 4 x 6 so you have some wiggle room and then the two pieces will easily overlap making it easier for you to assemble. If you choose a one way pattern design like the image above, be sure to position the paper in your cutter so your pattern will not be upside down. Happy Stamping!
