For those of you who missed yesterday’s post, there will not be a Make It Monday video today. I hope to return next week.

Yesterday’s message

As many of you know my mom has been battling cancer. It has been a long and emotional week, as my mom lost her battle with cancer yesterday.

The good news is that she now has a beautiful place in heaven just for her. I am so grateful she is now resting in the arms of her Savior. I have been blessed to walk this most difficult journey with her and even more blessed to be able to spend the last 10 days providing around the clock care for her with some of my siblings.

While my day to day blogging continued during this time, I do not have the mental capacity to create a Make It Monday video for tomorrow. I do have my card ready to go for Tuesday, and after that some of my dear friends have offered to create blog posts for me. I will sharing their creations with you over the next couple of weeks. Thank you so much for your understanding!

All of my cards began with a Basic White card base. I used Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather to add a splash of color.
