As a demonstrator for Stampin’ UP! I recently participated in an On Tour Virtual event and received a free stamp set from the new upcoming catalog. The event was so fun and we all created a sample to share with the group, which we made using the free stamp set of course.
So, here is the card I created to share. The name of the new set Etched in Nature.
- Begin with a 5½ x 8½” piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock. In landscape position, (aka the long side), score at 4 ¼”. Fold and burnish. This will create a card base.
- Cut a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. Use Soft Suede to stamp the ferns and the mushrooms onto the Crumb Cake panel.
- Color the buds on the fern using a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend and attach the panel to the card front.
- Use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine and the largest square from the Stitched Shape Dies to cut a piece of Very Vanilla. Stamp the bird image in Memento Black ink and color using Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends.
- Layer the bird panel on a 2 ¾ x2 ¾” piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock and attach to the Crumb Cake panel over the stamped images.
- Stamp the greeting in Misty Moonlight ink on a ¾ x 1-7/8” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and attach it to a 1 x 2” piece of Misty Moonlight.
- Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach this to the bottom of the bird panel.
- Layer a 4x 5¼” piece of Very Vanilla to the inside of the card and decorate as desired.
This is so pretty!
Thanks!!!
