Feel better Soon-Back on Your Feet

Today’s card features two sets that are retiring, Back on Your Feet and Positive Thoughts. Don’t wait until the last day, remember products are while supplies last.

I love using our watercolor pencils to add color to so many of our stamp sets so today I choose to highlight the Sloth. I stamped the greenery from Positive Thoughts in Shaded Spruce directly to a 3½ x 4½ panel of white CS. On a piece of white scrap I stamped the sloth in Memento Black ink, colored him with the watercolor pencils and fussy cut him with my paper snips.

I love the way it looks like he is hanging from the vines. I stamped the greeting in Memento black ink and mounted the white panel to a 3¾ x 5 piece of Early Espresso CS, then mounted it to my Shades Spruce card.

This was a fast and relatively easy card, if you minus the fussy cutting. I personally love to fussy cut, but I know many of you are not fans. Coloring is another thing that I love, so yes, that might be a stumbling block for some, but for those of you who love to color, have fun!

Join me again tomorrow for another retiring favorite. If you missed the retiring list, click on the button below to download the pdf.
