If you are a bird person then you are going to love today’s card. If not, maybe you are seaside bay person, either way today’s card is a fun summertime card. My card base begins with Balmy Blue and then I added a layer of Night of Navy. I created my beach scene for Mama bird and her babies on a 3-3/4 x 5 panel of white.
To create my beach scene I used our Blending Brushes and a variety of inks. For the water, I used Balmy Blue and Azure Afternoon. I added some white waves using a blender pen and some White Craft ink. The sand was blended with our new color Pecan Pie. The sky was again a mixture of Balmy Blue and Azure Afternoon.
I colored the bird family with a mixture of Stampin’ Blend markers and some watercolor pencils. I stamped the detailed sand dots using the Pecan Pie ink. The greeting is from the new stamp set Seasonal Branches. We have such a great spread of coordinating colors that makes creating fun scene super easy.
