All Squared Away Birthday!

The All Squared Away Bundle is one of those stamp sets that can be used for any occasion. Today I chose the birthday theme. I love how the stamped background image looks like designer series paper, not to mention how perfectly these square fit together.

This card features four of the five new In-colors, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia. Have fun creating!

Cutting Measurements

All Measurement=inches CS=Cardstock DSP=Designer Series Paper Landscape Position=Long side Portrait Position=short side

Supplies

Basic Black Cardstock- 5½ x 8½ (card base),2½ x 8½
Basic White Cardstock- 4 x 5¼ (front panel), 4 x 5¼ (inside), 2½ x 8½
All Square Away Bundle
Tailored Tag Punch
Handsomely Suited Set
Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine
Tasteful Textiles 3-D Embossing Folder
Fresh Freesia Ink
Pale Papaya Ink
Polished Pink Ink
Soft Succulent Ink
Stamparatus
Sponge Daubers
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive or Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals

Directions

Score Basic Black cardstock in landscape position at 4¼. Fold & burnish to create card base.
Stamp the colored squares with In-colors on Basic White strip and cut into squares.
Use the dies and Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine to cut square designs from the Basic Black Cardstock strip and attach to the colored squares.
Dry emboss one white panel with the Tasteful Textiles folder and attach to the front panel. Adhere other white panel inside the card.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp greeting from Handsomely Suited in Memento Black ink on small pc of white cardstock. Crop with the Tailored Punch and attach to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Sponge edges in Memento Black ink with sponge daubers.
Decorate inside as desired.

Masculine Birthday-Handsomely Suited!

Sometimes you just need a manly birthday card and the Handsomely Suited Bundle is perfect for creating a variety of cards for him. It is featured as a bundle in the January – June. Just a simple sentiment on the inside from the In Bloom stamp set. As mentioned in a previous post, I altered the Happy Birthday You Really Are The Best stamp, but cutting it in half.

Smoky Slate-4 x 5¼
Basic White Cardstock- 2 x 2½, 5½ x 6, 4 x 5¼ (inside)

Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder
Tailored Tag Punch
Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and Merry Merlot Ink
Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive
Stampin’ Dimensionals

Directions

Score Merry Merlot cardstock in landscape position at 4¼. Fold & burnish to create card base.
Attach the strip of Merry Merlot cardstock to the Smoky Slate panel and use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine to dry emboss them with the Tasteful Textile folder and attach to the card front.
Stamp the tie images in Merry Merlot, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate and use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine to crop them out. Attach to the card front as shown.
Stamp the greeting and punch out using the Tailored Tag punch. Attach to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
