Sending Sunshine-InKing Royalty Blog hop!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! This month’s hop projects center around a SUNSHINE theme, so I hope you are ready for some sunshine fun! We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Well I have to admit my friends that I was on the struggle bus with this theme. Not that I don’t enjoy sunshine or spreading joy, I just could not find a stamp set in my collection that I wanted to use. Shocking right? I decided to go with the Sending Smiles stamp set and dies to create a sunny background using our Blending Brushes and some Daffodil Delight ink. The sky was created using one or our In-Colors, Tahitian Tide.

I cut my white cardstock at 3-3/4 x5 and then added the sun and sky. Sending is cut with Basic Black and Tahitian Tide cardstock.
Yes, I cheated and used my Stamparatus to add the greeting! I am so sad we cannot sell this item anymore because it comes in so handy to get a bold image when adding a sentiment over a sponged background.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop Jan Dufour at Stamp Me Silly. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! I hope your day is filled with sunshine. Happy Stamping and have fun!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

  1. Great card. I miss the Stamparatus too. I came up with a tool I made to help with that. Maybe they’ll think of something out. Keep sponging!

  2. This sunny background is amazing! I love the different sentiment styles that come together so perfectly!
