Masculine Birthday-Embossing Technique #114 Weekly Wednesday

Hey all, happy Wednesday. Wow this week certainly is going by quickly. I am here today to share a simple embossing technique using white craft ink and the Fern and Flora stamp set. If you are like me and struggle with creating masculine cards, you are going to enjoy this video.

Step 1

Choose a neutral cardstock and ink. I am using Crumb Cake cardstock with Early Espresso ink. Stamp desired image full strength and stamped off several times on the corners of your cardstock.

Step 2

Stamp the image on one corner with white craft ink and emboss with white embossing powder. Remember to use your embossing buddy or a dryer sheet to remove static before stamping.

Step 3

Use a blending brush and Early Espresso ink to add a bit of color around stamped images. Use a dryer sheet or soft cloth to remove the color from white embossed image.

Step 4

Use an aqua painter, ink and water (or alcohol) to create splatter on your image.

Step 5

Stamp greeting and attach Crumb Cake panel to Early Espresso and then to card front. Add a Basic White panel to the inside and decorate as desired.
