Don’t you just love colorful flowers? The only down side is depending on what kind, they don’t last very long. I love tulips and they definitely don’t last long after they are cut. Today’s flowers will not fade. I used the Color and Contour stamp set and some of our famous watercolor pencils. To create the blended color look on the flowers, I used a blender pen.
I started with a Basic White card base and added a layer of Pacific Point (2 ¾ x 4 ¼). The flowers are stamped on scrap white, colored and cropped with coordinating dies. The greeting is from Something Fancy.
The Pacific Point is retiring and may not be available, but Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight or Blueberry Bushel would be great alternative. This is a super simple and very quick card, but I hope it inspires you to create something beautiful.

Good morning all I hope you are having a great week. I am blessed to be in Virginia Beach visiting my mother in law. As many of you know she was living with us and my sister in law before COVID and now resides permanently with my sister-in-law and her husband in Virginia Beach. Mom just turned 91 and although she gets around by herself, her memory is not what it used to be so it is easier to have one residence.
Luckily my husband and I were able to get an Airbnb on the ocean and trust me it is much more scenic than this card, although I do think this card turned out nicely.
I stared with a Basic White card base and added a layer of Balmy Blue. To a 1/2 sheet of white, I stamped the images from the Ocean Front stamp set in Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and Early Espresso. For added dimension, I tore the top of the cardstock and used my water paper to add a bit of balmy blue to the edges.
For the clouds, I just used our white watercolor pencil. I know they are barely visible in the photo, but I did want a very light look. I only colored and did not use any water or the blender pen. For darker clouds, color harder and/or use the blender pen. I do hope this card brings a bit of peace to your day. The ocean is always so refreshing and relaxing, that is if you are not afraid of the water!
I stamped the greeting from Celebrate Sunflowers in Pacific Point ink. I know this ink is retiring, so I am sure Blueberry Bushel or even Misty Moonlight would look nice as well. Check out the other returning colors and our Color Refresh in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. Happy Stamping!

I thought I would share with you a fun summer card for those summertime birthdays. This sweet set is considered a Hybrid set, which means the large die will cut and emboss at the same time. Nothing says summertime like some fresh lemonade. Wait until you see one of the new sets that will pair perfectly with this set.
If you are a preferred customer (placed a $50 order in the last 6 months) and have not received the new annual catalog, please let me know and I will get that out to you ASAP! The new summertime set is called So Refreshing and is pictured on page 29 of the new catalog.
I started with a Basic White card base and added a layer of Daffodil Delight. I used some scrap white to stamp the citrus and the embossing folder with the die to crop and emboss at the same time. The leaves are Old Olive and the accent flower was stamped with Calypso Coral. I just used a black sharpie to add a dot in the center of my flower. I added the bottom layer of the citrus with regular glue/snail (you know I like my green glue)and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the whole lemon and the slice in front.
I am looking forward to some evening in my backyard with some fresh squeezed lemonade by day and possibly a glass of Chardonnay at night, well at least on Friday night! Happy Stamping!

Happy Monday all! Today I have a fun and very simple background technique to share with you. Using just one stamp from the Artistically Inked stamp set and one ink color, you can create a amazing background for your card creations.
When placing an online order through my store, be sure to add the current host code. And don’t forget to download the project sheet below.
It is Friday and time for a relaxing weekend. I hope you all enjoy today’s card as I am sending you sunshine to brighten your day! This card was created using a Calypso Coral card base, some Calypso Coral ink and Memento Black. This is a clean and simple card to brighten your day. I love the brightness of the Calypso Coral and how the black just seems to pop!

The white cardstock is cut at 4 x 5 1/4. If you have not checked out the Sending Smiles stamp set yet, take a look at page 14 in the 2022-2023 annual catalog. There are some great greetings for creating a card for different occasions. Plus the samples featured in the catalog are oh so cute. Happy Stamping!

The star of today’s Go Green card features Granny Apple Green and Garden Green. I began with a Garden Green card base followed by a thin layer of white and an embossed layer of Granny Apple Green. I used a 3 x 3 piece of Watercolor Paper, added my green colors with a water painter and then spritzed the watercolor paper with a blast of water to get the colors to run together for a sea of green.
I allowed the watercolor paper to dry completely, actually I was impatient and used the heat tool to speed up this step. Once the 3 x 3 was dry, I added some Garden Green ink to the edges using a sponge dauber to get that darker look around the border and then attached it to a 3-1/8x 3-1/8″ piece of Garden Green. Note: Be sure to let your watercolor paper dry completely before adding color to the edges.
My Granny Apple Green layer is embossed with the Fern embossing folder and the greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink with the hello from Biggest Wishes. I added three Black Matte Dots for an added pop and adding embellishment is just plain fun!

Thank you for hopping along with us. If you get stuck during the Blog Hop, please use this line-up as a guide:
My card today features the flowers from Happiness Abounds. I colored them using our watercolor pencils and a blender pen. If you are not familiar with our blender pen, it is an amazing way to blend and smooth the lines of any image that is colored with watercolor pencils. You can even use the blender pen with your ink pads to create a colored marker.
In my sample I used Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive pencils. The greeting is from a new set that will be featured in the May 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I began with a Gorgeous Grape card base and added a panel of Basic White that I embossed using the Metal Plate 3-D embossing folder.

I used some scrap pieces of white to stamp and crop my flowers and leaves and attached them to a 3 x 3 piece of Basic White CS using Stampin’ Dimensionals . The greeting is stamped with Memento Black ink and attached to a 3-1/8 x3-1/8″ square of Gorgeous Grape CS.
I hope this card finds you in good health and inspires you to create something beautiful to share with others. Happy Stamping!

Good morning all, I hope you had a blessed weekend. It is time for another Make It Monday video and I am excited to share with you another stamping technique. This week we will learn about how to create a Faux Linen background. I am sharing two different ways to create this look, so I hope you enjoy today’s technique.
This is a great technique to stretch your stamping skills. By far the first one is totally awesome and not messy at all, but then again the second one has some vibrant colors to create a fun background, so maybe getting a little messy is worth it. Either way, Happy Stamping!

What is more exciting than new stamp sets! I am excited to share with you one of the new bundles in the 2023-2023 Annual Catalog, Cheerful Daisies. Daisies and Tulips are two of my favorite flowers and this bundle features a large, small and half daisy. Unfortunately there will not be a new Tulip bundle, maybe next time.

I began with a Crushed Curry card base and added a layer for Early Espresso and Basic White. I stamped the flowers with Crushed Curry and Early Espresso ink and the leaves in Old Olive. The greeting is punched with the Label Me Fancy punch that will soon be retiring.
The new catalog will go live May 1st, and while there s just one of the many new that are featured. There is still time to get some of the last chance products in the retiring catalogs. Just a reminder that retiring products are while supplies last.
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae
