Back To School-InKing Royal Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! Can you believe it’s already time for schools to start back up?! The return to school after summer vacation is a really big deal for students, teachers, school workers and the parents who are left home alone. To honor this big event, we have created projects with a back to school theme. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I created today’s blog hop card using the Cheerful Basket Bundle, Garden Birdhouses and Forever Fern stamp sets. Begin with a Basic White card base and add a layer of Daffodil Delight. Use the basket dies to crop a Crumb Cake basket and color it with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Dimensionals.

#blessedbycards

Stamp and crop the crafting/school tools and color with coordinating Stampin’ Blend markers and add basket to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greetings are from Garden Birdhouses and Forever Fern stamp sets. Whether you are a student or a teacher, I hope you have a fabulous year.

  1. Oops! Color me embarrassed! Apparently I didn’t look close enough at the Cheerful Basket stamps!
Sorry! This item has been added to my wish list. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Great card! Did I miss something or didn’t you mention where the school supplies stamp came from?
I’d love to create this card for my grandgirls!

    1. Thank you! I loved your card as well, very clever. I kept getting an error message when I tried to comment. Maybe because I am so late in responding.

  3. Hi Renee, I had a basket just like that sitting on my desk with supplies! When I retire, I left the basket with supplies the new teacher might need. Super meaningful card for me. Thanks!

  4. I love it, Renae! My first thought was to play with this set and the sentiment from Garden Birdhouses…but I realized I didn’t have Garden Birdhouses, so…I changed direction. I love what you’ve done with it! Such fun!

  5. This is perfect! I love your basket of supplies. And the idea would work for our craft friends as well as school.
