Happy Saturday all. Here is a Fun Fact Friday post that should have happened yesterday, so sorry about that. Fun Fact: My husband retired a few weeks ago and I totally forgot that it as Friday! Hahahaha! Why I have no idea because I am still working and should know what day it is. LOL
Anyway, today’s card or should I say yesterday’s card is one I made for our team’s color challenge. The challenge was to use the following colors: blackberry bliss, peach pie, gorgeous grape, flirty flamingo, and black. The challenge was to use some or all of the colors. My card today features all of these colors.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card that was supposed to be posted yesterday. But hey, it kinda looks like a retirement card, don’t you think??? hahahaha Join me on Monday for Part 2 of my Everyday Arches Series! CLICK HERE if you missed Part 1. Happy Stamping!
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae
Last month one of my Stampin’ Up! team leaders issued a sketch challenge. We have a private Facebook group where we can chat and share crafting ideas. Team members interested in participating simply upload cards to our Facebook page. It is a lot of fun and I love seeing how creative everyone is.
Here is a picture of our sketch challenge for November.
And here is the card I posted in our group.

One of the fun things about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is being a part of a team with other very talented crafters. This week one of my uplines issued a Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze color challenge. Here is the card I created to post on our private facebook page.

Project Measurements
Crumb Cake CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base),4 x 5¼
Cajun Craze CS-4 x 5¼
Pear Pizazz CS- 3x 4
Memento Black Ink
This Birthday Piggy
Hello Harvest Bundle
Stampin’ Cut n Emboss Machine
Leaf Fall Embossing Folder
Paper Snips
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/Liquid Glue
I used the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss Machine to dry emboss the Leaf Fall folder with Cajun Craze CS and attached it to the card front. The pumpkins are cropped using the dies in the Hello Harvest Bundle. The “thinking of you” greeting is from This Birthday Piggy was stamped with Memento Black ink on a scrap of Pear Pizzazz CS.
I always find color challenges challenging and technically I don’t think I was supposed to use Memento Black ink. I should have stamped it with Cajun Craze ink. I am looking forward to seeing what my teammates post this month.
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae

World Card Making Day is coming soon, October 2, 2021. I am hosting a Cards and Cocktails Open House on Friday October 1st. Registration is required if you would like to attend this in-person event.
Taking inspiration from my upline, I thought it would be so much fun to include a “Card Design Challenge”. You do not have to attend the event to participate in this challenge, so please only register if you are attending the event in-person.
Once you can create your card, either post it directly to my business Facebook page using #blessedbycardsWCMD by clicking here, email it, snail mail it or drop it off on my porch. To qualify for the prize give away, all cards must be received by midnight on September 29 (unless you are attending the in-person event). I will feature all the cards I receive on my October 2 blog post to celebrate World Card Making Day.
If you live in the St. Louis/St. Charles area, I would be happy to have you attend my Cards and Cocktails event. We will not vote on our cards, as it will be just for fun, However, everyone who participates will be put into a drawing for some FREE stamping toys, so if you are not attending be sure I have your contact information. Who is in????

Today’s card was inspired from a card challenge that I did with my upline and private Facebook community. It is one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. If you would like to join us for these and many other private events, join my team today.
For my card challenge I started with a card base of Cajun Craze and added layer of the Simply Elegant Designer Series paper pack-I just love this paper. I added a strip and scallop circle using the Silver Foil Sheets, another favorite that pairs perfectly with this paper. The cut another circle from Smoky Slate and used the greeting from Simply Succulents. The circles are from the Layering Circle dies.
I love being a part of this Facebook community because sharing is much more fun with friends. Did I mention if you join my team this month there is an extra bonus? Yup, you also get to choose an additional bundle free with your starter kit. There are so many great benefits and zero obligation to sell or create a business!
