Under the Sea Thank You!

Did you know that the Whale Done Punch Bundle pairs perfectly with the Friends are Like Seashell Bundle? Check it out.

Today’s card uses both of these sets, plus the new Blending Brushes to create an under the sea thank you! Let’s just say there is nothing fishy about this thank you!

Begin with a Cinnamon Cider card base that measures 4 ¼ x 11. In landscape position, (aka the long side) score at 5 ½”. Fold and burnish. This will create a tent fold card.
Cut a 4-1/8 x 5-3/8” piece of Old Olive cardstock and layer to the card front.
Cut a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and using a Blending brush, add some Mango Melody ink to the top of the cardstock.
Next, blend some Pacific Point ink to create the ocean and finally on the bottom of the white cardstock, blend some Crumb Cake ink to create the sandy ocean floor.
Stamp some specks from the Friends are Like Seashells set in crumb cake and some Old Olive seaweed to the sandy floor.
Stamp a few sea shells in Cinnamon Cider ink, cut out with coordinating dies and add to the bottom of the ocean.
Stamp the Thank you and some fishy friends from the Whale Done set in Memento ink across the blue of the ocean.

These sets are amazing together and I loved creating this playful card. I hope this inspires you to get out your ink pads and create something beautiful.

A Dandy Little Thank You

What could be better than a dragonfly garden? I image a garden filled with lots of colorful flowers and of’ course a few dragonflies. I have to admit I don’t see too many dragonflies here in St. Louis, perhaps this spring I will check out the Missouri Botanical Gardens to see if they are hanging out there.

But for now, this cute little dragonfly thank you will have to do. Notice the sweet little lady bug trinket, I think it gives this card a polished finish. The Lady Bug Trinkets are in the January – June catalog on page 25.

Begin with a Bumblebee card base that measures 4 ¼ x 11”. In landscape position, (aka the long side) score at 5 ½”. Fold and burnish.
Cut a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of the Basic White cardstock and layer to the bumblebee card front.
Cut a 2 x 4” piece of designer series paper from the Dandy Gardens paper pack and layer to the bottom of the white panel.
Cut a ½ x 4” piece of coordinating paper from the same paper pack and attach it to layer across the 2 x 4” piece.
Use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine to cut out a large rectangle from Bumblebee cardstock using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Now cut a smaller rectangle from Basic White cardstock and stamp the greeting in Memento Black on the white rectangle.
Layer the two rectangles together and attach to the card front.
Use the Dragonflies punch to crop a big and little Dragonfly from the Dandy Gardens Designer Series Paper and layer on the card front.
For that added pop, add a Lady Bug Trinket to the card front.

Thank You Flower and Field

I love all of our designer series paper because it takes no time at all to turn simple into beautiful.

Begin with a Poppy Parade card base that measures 5 ½ x 8 ½”. In landscape position, (aka along the 8½” side) score at 4 ¼”. Fold and burnish.
Cut a 3 ¾ x 5” piece of the Flower and Field Designer Series paper and attach it to a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Bumblebee cardstock.
Next wrap some white bakers twine around the lower portion of the card panel and attach to the Poppy Parade card front.
Punch a label from Poppy Parade cardstock using the Everyday Label punch.
Stamp the “Thank You” greeting from Happy Thoughts in Memento Black ink on some white cardstock and punch it out using the same punch as in previous step. Cut the top and bottom fancy portions out so you are only left with a long oval greeting.
Layer the white greeting to the Poppy Parade label and attach over the white bakers twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add some white hearts from the Resin Hearts Embellishment pack.

Clean and Simple Thank You!

Sometimes I just feel like creating a clean and simple card, nothing fancy, just a simply beautiful card. The card I created today is from our note cards on page 173 in the annual catalog. The folded card measures 5 x 3 ½”.

Begin with a Basic White Note card that measures 3 ½ x 5”. This note card comes pre-scored and includes a coordinating envelope.
Stamp the Thank you greeting from the Sweet Strawberry Bundle in Memento Black ink.
Stamp the small flower in Memento Black ink four times and color the center with a Daffodil Stampin’ Blend.
Add a small bow using the Silver Metallic Edge ribbon and a glue dot under the greeting.
Arrange three small flowers to the left of the greeting.
For inside of stamp the greeting in Memento Black ink and add one small flower.

To A Wild Rose-Feeling Blessed!

Some days one just feels more blessed than other. While it was a crazy and different Christmas Season, I feel so blessed that both of my children could come home for the holidays. Game nights are always a hoot at our house! Throw in a little Moscow Mules (them) and some Chardonnay (me) and things really become interesting.

At any rate I am blessed and I know it so todays card is just an expression of my gratitude and it features the To A Wild Rose stamp set on page 15 of the Annual Catalog.It is Sale-A-Bration time, so if you add this set and the coordinating dies, you can choose a FREE set or paper pack from the Sale-A-Brations catalog.

The To a Wild Rose stamp set is two-step stamp which basically means the stamps coordinate and build on the detail of the image. Using the Stamparatus is very helpful with working with two-step images.

Begin with a Basic White card base 5 ½ x 8 ½. Score in landscape position at 4 ¼”.
Using the Stampin Cut and Emboss machine dry emboss a 4 x 5¼” piece of Cherry Cobbler with the Subtle embossing folder.
On a 3 ½ x 4 ¾ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp Blessed in Memento Ink near the lower right corner.
On a scrap piece of white cardstock stamp the outline image of the Rose in Memento Black ink. Next stamp the totally solid rose image in Blushing Bride ink and finally stamp the detailed rose image in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Using the Wild Rose dies, cut out the Rose. Put three Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Rose, but do not peel off the adhesive.
Stamp the leaves outline stamp in Memento Black ink on the card, using the Rose as a guide. Stamp the solid green image of the leaves in Mossy Meadow ink.
Peel off the Stampin’ Dimensional adhesive and position over the leaves.
Add three Rhinestones around on the white cardstock.
