Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month’s projects center around Harvest & Hope, so prepare yourself for gratitude and love in Fall-themed projects. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Sorry no Weekly Wednesday video as I am taking care of my mother in law for a week or so and that means no time to film, but I am excited to share with you two cards for our blog hop today.
The first card was made by my friend Cherie who came to visit earlier this month. This is actually a card she made on our World Card Making Day Weekend. Cherie is super great at creating very intricate cards! Thanks Cherie! I will do my best to give you directions.

Cork Paper-2 x3. Layer on top of embossed/inked layer
Pear Pizzazz CS-2 x 4 Crop leaves with dies from bundle
Nature’s Harvest Bundle-Stamp greeting in Memento Black Ink and crop with die in bundle

Stamp flower, crop with dies and use Stampin’ Markers to color: Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz
Wrap Diamond Weave Ribbon @ 4 ½ around embossed and Cherry Cobbler layer and then attach to card front
The second card is a super simple Thanksgiving card that I created using the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper pack.
I began with a Cajun Craze card base and used Cajun Craze Ink for the Happy Thanksgiving greeting. The greeting is from the Banner Year stamp set. I am telling you this crazy little set is so stinkin’ versatile!

Love how you have the beautiful DSP doing all the work. I love that paper so versatile. Lovely card
Thanks….yes I love our DSP and the ease of creating an elegant and super quick card.
Cherie’s card is really lovely, but yours is more my speed.
Yes, we tend to be simple folk! LOL
Love the colors and the dsp paper for fall.
Thank you!
Love the layers on your first card. So beautiful! I like the second card for its simplicity. Perfect!
Thanks….I love how we all have the same stamp sets and yet create so differently!
Both cards are just gorgeous. I tend to be a simple stamper so card 2 is definitely more my style. I do love #1 as well though!
Thanks Pam, seems like my life these days is simple and quick stamping!
sooo pretty 🙂
thank you
Your 1st card, what a fun way to use the cork paper for a background. Love all the layers & texture. 2nd card, beautiful easy & colorful.
Deborah, Thanks! That cork paper is totally awesome. Have fun creating!
Love your card. Can’t miss with the Harvest set.
Thanks Lesly I couldn’t agree more!
Cherie’s card is soft, earthy perfection. Love the details. Love the simplicity of your Thanksgiving card. Sometimes the DSP is all you need for a stunner. I’m looking forward to playing with some DSP I just received.
Thanks Sheryl, I do love our DSP, best on the market! IMHO of course!
Beautiful! I especially love the simplicity and beauty of the Thanksgiving card.
Thanks Robyn, I think this is my favorite paper pack, at least for now. LOL
Both cards are stunners, but I think the first one is my absolute favorite! Love it!
Cathy that is awesome. I love it to and am so thankful to my friend Cherie for sharing her multi-level talents with me.
Great card, Renae! Love the cork & ribbon- adds such great texture. Hope your MIL is ok.
Thanks….I too love that ribbon and the cork paper is amazing. MIL is all good, just has some memory issues and cannot be left alone. Such is life. If I lose my memory, I hope I will still remember how to stamp. LOL
So beautiful! I love all of the colors you’ve used (the paper on the second card is one of my all-time favorites), and I love how soft and sweet the first card is. ♥
Thanks so much. I had to really plan ahead for this one, but it was fun!
I am just discovering the awesomeness of the cork dsp. Nice layering on the first card. And the Beauty of the Earth DSP shines on the 2nd card.
Thanks Ann….the cork paper is really cool!
Lovely cards. I hope your mother in law is on the mend
Thanks Lynn. My MIL is great, she just has some memory issues and cannot be left alone. Before COVID she was living with us part-time, now we just have to settle for a week or so together whenever we can. It’s all good, thanks for the well wishes!
The flowers on the first card really standout. Lovely card.
I love that too! Gorgeous set for sure.
I love the layers of Cheri’s card. And the pretty simplicity of your Thanksgiving card. Both are wonderful.
Thanks Jackie!
Both cards are beautiful. Love the simplicity of yours, letting the DSP shine.
Maureen, thanks! It is super fun letting the DSP do all the work.
