Sometimes we just need to make and send a card for no reason at all. I send a lot of cards to people in my parish community who have not been able to get out much and have heard from a lot of them how our cards bring joy to their day.
Today’s card features the Lovely You stamp set from the Annual Catalog (p. 22) with Misty Moonlight, Just Jade and Bumblebee from the 2020-2022 In-Colors. It is one of those cards that we send……just because.
- Begin with a Whisper White card base 5½ x 8½”. Score in landscape position at 4¼”.
- Layer a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Misty Moonlight on the card front.
- Cut a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8” piece of Just Jade cardstock and using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine dry emboss with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and layer on top of the Misty Moonlight panel.
- Cut a 2 ½ x 5 1/8” of Whisper White cardstock and tear along one side. Randomly stamp the leaf stamp in Just Jade ink along the torn edge. Add Bumblebee and Misty Moonlight flowers. Layer the Whisper White on the Just Jade cardstock.
- Using the NEW Double Oval punch, punch out a Misty Moonlight scalloped oval.
- Next punch out a small white oval and stamp the greeting in Misty Moonlight ink. Layer on the Misty Moonlight scalloped oval and adhere to card using some Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the inside, stamp the one leaf with Just Jade and two flower, one in Misty Moonlight ink and the other in Bumblebee.
