Happy Monday everyone. I hope you had a glorious weekend. Today I am excited to share with you a fun gift bag that I created using one piece of 12 x 12 designer series paper. Plus you can use the left over strip to create 6 beautiful cards. I will be sharing with you 4 cards that I created with my left over strip. I want to give a shout out to Julie Dimiatteo at the Paper Pixie for her great tips on how to get perfectly even handles!
Here is a look at two of the bags I created:

Gift Bag Measurements:
- Choose a 12 x 12 piece of designer series paper for your bag and matching cards. Cut your DSP to be 8-1/4 x 12 making sure your directional design is along the 12″ side.
- Cut strip of 3-3/4 x 12 DSP into six 2″ strips to create your six matching cards.
- Score on the 12″ side at 4-1/2, 5-3/4, 10-1/4, and 11-1/2. Rotate your DSP and score at 1-1/4 for the bottom and at 1″ for the top. See video on how to make cuts and fold bag and create the prefect ribbon handles.

These bags are so much fun and I love Julie’s tip on how to create the perfect handle every time. I had a blast created so many of these bags for this year’s Mother’s Day. Although my mom is no longer with me, I had a good time creating them for some very special moms! Thank the Lord for He is good and always placing the right people in our lives at the right time. Let us rejoice and give thanks for all moms and grandma’s this week. After all, Mother’s Day is not just one day of celebration, it is a lifetime of love. Stop back on Wednesday for another video tutorial. Happy Stamping!
Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae
