I am excited to share with you another card that I made with some Forever Greenery designer series paper scraps. This card features the Rooted in Nature set and the greeting is from Framed For You. Both of these sets will retire at the end of this month.
Don’t forget if you live in the St. Louis area, I would love for you to join us for our monthly stamp camps. CLICK HERE for upcoming dates.
- Begin with a 5½ x 8½” piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock. In landscape position, (aka the long side), score at 4 ¼”. Fold and burnish. This will create a card base.
- Cut a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and layer it to the card front.
- Cut a 2 ¾ x 2 ¾” square of Forever Greenery designer series paper and cut it in half on the diagonal. Layer one of the halves to the lower left corner of the Pear Pizzazz panel.
- Cut a 3 x 4” piece of Basic White cardstock and stamp the top of the large tree from Rooted in Nature in Shaded Spruce ink and the trunk in Soft Suede.
- Stamp the greeting from Framed For You in Soft Suede in the upper left corner of the white panel and attach to a 3-1/8 x 4-1/8 piece of Soft Suede cardstock.
- Attach tree layer to the card front.
- Cut a 4 x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock for the inside and decorate as desired.
