Remember yesterday when Brian King said prepare yourself for Autumn landscapes, warm colors and sweet reminders of all the reasons we have to be grateful this time of year. Well those words inspired this Fall/Thanksgiving card! Again I used the Merry Merlot for a card base. The leaves are cut out with the dies included in the Gather Together Bundle, with Garden Green, Merry Merlot and Cinnamon Cider cardstock.
You may not realize it from the picture, but I cut out the fancy scallop frame using two of the dies from the layering oval dies and stamped the sentiment directly on the cardstock. This helps keep the bulk of the card down, especially if you are sending it in the mail. Again I added the gold metallic pearls. It is truly amazing how a little bling pulls a card together. Hi Renae. Love the leaves. They make me think of creating DSP—taking Very Vanilla and stamping off leaves in Merry Merlot, Garden Green, and Cinnamon Cider. What do you think?
