Today’s card uses both of these sets, plus the new Blending Brushes to create an under the sea thank you! Let’s just say there is nothing fishy about this thank you!
- Begin with a Cinnamon Cider card base that measures 4 ¼ x 11. In landscape position, (aka the long side) score at 5 ½”. Fold and burnish. This will create a tent fold card.
- Cut a 4-1/8 x 5-3/8” piece of Old Olive cardstock and layer to the card front.
- Cut a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and using a Blending brush, add some Mango Melody ink to the top of the cardstock.
- Next, blend some Pacific Point ink to create the ocean and finally on the bottom of the white cardstock, blend some Crumb Cake ink to create the sandy ocean floor.
- Stamp some specks from the Friends are Like Seashells set in crumb cake and some Old Olive seaweed to the sandy floor.
- Stamp a few sea shells in Cinnamon Cider ink, cut out with coordinating dies and add to the bottom of the ocean.
- Stamp the Thank you and some fishy friends from the Whale Done set in Memento ink across the blue of the ocean.
These sets are amazing together and I loved creating this playful card. I hope this inspires you to get out your ink pads and create something beautiful.
