Vine Design-It’s Black and White!

If you have not purchased the True Love Designer Series paper from the Spring mini catalog you don’t know what you are missing. I have totally enjoyed the versatility of this paper. You can leave it black and white or spice it up by adding color with the Stampin’ Blending Brushes or the sponge daubers. If you missed the spiced up with color post, CLICK HERE

Today’s card was inspired by this black and white paper. I used the stamps from the Vine Design set to create my own black and white paper.

  • Begin with a Basic Black card base that measures 5½ x 8½. In landscape position, (aka the long side) score at 4¼.  Fold and burnish.  This will create a card base.
  • Cut a 3 ¾ x 5” piece of Basic White cardstock and randomly stamp images from the Vine Design set in Memento Black ink and attach to the cards front.
  • Cut a 1 x 4” strip of Basic Black cardstock and punch both ends using the Lovely Labels pick a punch.
  • Stamp the greeting on some white cardstock and cut it down to be 5/8 x 3 1/8” and layer on top of the Basic Black punched embellishment.

Add a 4 x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White to the inside of the card and stamp a few flowers of your choice on the inside. There you have it a very clean and simple stamping project created with just a few basic supplies. Check out this set and many others in the Spring mini catalog. Products in this catalog will be available until June!
