It’s A Jungle Out There-Make It Monday #146

Hey folks we are in the final days of our Sale-A-Bration event and today I am sharing a card I created using the Jungle Pals stamp set and coordinating dies. You can get one or both of these FREE as part of the Sale-a-Bration catalog. Each free item requires a $50 order, so go ahead and download the catalogs and start making that list. Just click on the catalog images below. Hurry because the sale ends on February 28th!

Jungle Pals Stamp Set and Dies

Click here or on the image below to view the video of the three cards I created using the Jungle Pals Sale-a-Bration stamp set and dies.

These little jungle pals make great birthday cards. The sweet toucan bird is my absolute favorite. The alligator is cute too but seriously only in this stamped image because a real alligator is more dark brown then green. After all they do live in the swamp.

Here is a closer look at today’s cards!

Card # 1 Tiger
Card #2 Toucan Thank You
Card # 3 Toucan Birds Happy Birthday

You can color these sweet critters with our Stampin Blend markers or watercolor pencils. Be sure to add a pack of the Blender pens to your stamping stash, they make water coloring so much more fun! Have fun playing around with the combos for the perfect shading. Happy Stamping!

Jungle Pals Favorite Things Friday!

Happy Friday everyone. We are in the final days of our Sale-A-bration Sale and now is the time to add those Sale-A-Brations products to your stamping supplies. For every $50 you order online through my store you will recieve a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set, paper pack, or some fun bling. Today I am sharing two products from the Jungle Pals bundle. These cute little critters are just waiting to make your next project a hit.

JUNGLE PALS

This card came together fast as the Jungle Dies made it super easy. I cropped the tree using some Pecan Pie cardstock and the leaves and jungle grass with Garden Green cardstock. Our little hanging friend was stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with some watercolor pencils. I used the Early Espresso pencil and a blender pen to create the shading.

The Happiest of Birthday is from Throughout the Year and stamped with Pecan Pie ink. It looks a little crooked. LOL I promise I did not have a glass of Chardonnay while creating this card, although maybe that would have helped. Anyway it is homemade right. I am sure whomever receives this hanging friend will not mind. I think it reminds us that being perfect is so overrated! Happy Stamping!

Everyday Details Dies-Happy Birthday

Wow! Have you checked out the Everyday Details Dies, they are so fancy. If you are loving the new Perennial Postage Dies, you are going to love these. This bundle is unique because the dies do not necessarily coordinate with the stamp set. But check these out! They have coordinating rectangles, circles and a few extra fancy details. In today’s card I am using the rectangles.

EVERYDAY DETIALS DIES

I started with a Boho Blossoms card base. This blue is so soft and is one of the In-Colors that will be going away in April. If you have not added it to your collection, now is the time. Just click before and start shopping. I stamped the flower pot from the Everyday Details Bundle and used the watercolor pencils to add some color. The blender pens are a great way to smooth out the lines in your coloring. If you look closely you can see a few lines in my coloring but that is because I glued before coloring.

The greeting is from Something Fancy and stamped with Memento Black. I popped it up with a few mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For my fancy borders. I used the largest rectangle and cropped it twice, once with Basic White and once with Boho Blossoms CS. I had to cut the Boho Blossom rectangle down, but the Basic White fit perfectly inside. Happy Stamping!

Fun with Metallic Enamel Effects

Well we made it to Friday, yahoo! It has been a week. I guess some weeks are just busier than others and I think we will all agree that no matter how busy life gets there is always time for crafting. Today I am sharing a card I made using our Metallic Enamel Effect. These amazing bottles are so great for adding a special touch to your crafting project. The only real trick is patience. You will need to let them dry completely before you assemble.

It may be difficult to see how beautiful they really are with just a photos, so I suggest you order a set today and give them a try. I admit I was a bit impatient and perhaps I did not let mine dry completely. It still looks good, just some of my dots may be a little more flat.

I chose a Starry Sky card base and added another Starry Sky layer that I dry embossed using the new Layered Floral embossing folder. This is by far my favorite embossing folder. I choose to accent the smaller flowers with a dot of the silver Metallic Enamel Effects, again you will need to let them dry completely! No problem right? We can just move onto another crafting project while it dries.

Metallic Enamel Effects

I stamped my greeting with Starry Sky ink and although I did not use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach my floral layer, I do think that would be a nice added touch. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out. Happy Stamping!

Everyday Details Bundle-Happy Retirement!

Happy Wednesday all and what a very happy Wednesday it is for my sister-in-law as she officially retired yesterday! Yahoo! Bring on the fun and relaxation! And in honor of her retirement I am sharing the card I created for her, although she might see this post before she gets her card!

I decided to use the Everyday Details Bundle and go sweet and simple with the teacups. I stamped the greeting on a 3 x 4 piece of Basic White and layered it to a Blueberry Bushel panel and then added it to a Basic White card base. I colored the teacups with some of our Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and yes, I fussy cut the teacups. Sorry I just could not help myself.

I added a few Tinsel Gems in blue and quickly put it in the mail. Congratulations Diana I hope you enjoy many, many, happy healthy retirement years! Happy Stamping my friends. Stop back Friday for another Favorite Things Friday post!

Everyday Details Bundle-With Sympathy

Today I am sharing with you a sweet sympathy card I made for a friend who recently lost her mom. This card was created using the Everyday Details Bundle. There is something so soft and sweet about this Robin’s nest of eggs and I do hope it brings my friend a little bit of comfort during this time of sorrow.

Losing a loved one is always so difficult and many of you know that no matter how old we get, the loss of your mom is a difficult cross to endure.

I began with a Pool Party card base and stamped my Robin’s nest with some Memento Black ink. I also stamped the greeting with Memento Black. The greeting is from Something Fancy pictured on page 34 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

I colored the image with our Stampin’ Blend markers, Old Olive, Bronze and Pool Party. Finish off your card with some bling of your choice. I added one of our Tinsel Gems.

It think this is going to be a very popular bundle. The samples in the catalog are super sweet and this makes not only a great sympathy card but would also make an amazing Mother’s Day card, thinking of you, and birthday card. Happy Stamping!

Fresh As A Daisy ~ Favorite Things Friday!

Hey there my stamping friends. I am back today with another favorite designer series paper pack from the 2023-2024 annual catalog, Fresh As A Daisy. This amazing paper pack with make card making an daisies just happens to be one of my favorite flowers.

I love the softness of the Boho Blossom daisies in this paper and so I started with a Boho Blossom card base. I chose Cajun Craze ink to compliment the background color in this sheet of designer series paper.

I used the dies in the Perennial Postage bundle to crop a Boho Bloom and Basic White layer. The greeting that I stamped with Cajun Craze ink is from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set.

I guess you can already tell that one of my favorite new bundles is the Perennial Postage Bundle. Get a free Sale-a-Bration stamp set or paper pack when you place an order for this bundle or any $50 order. Just click on the images below. Happy Stamping!
