Get Your Jingle on with Holly Jolly Wishes!

Today’s card is just plain fun. I used strips of designer series paper from Sweet Stockings and a few Cherry Cobbler stars from the Stitched Star Dies and a greeting from Holly Jolly Wishes.

What a super easy and fun card to create for the holidays. This is was Sara Douglas calls a 4 step card. Here are the four steps.

  1. Cardstock
  2. Stamps
  3. Designer Series Paper
  4. Accessories

My accessories may be a little stepped up as I created the bling using the Stitched Star dies, so perhaps this is a 4½ step card! LOL I began with a Cherry Cobbler card base and added 4 strips of the Sweet Stocking Designer Series Paper that measure 1 x 3¼.

The greeting is from Holly Jolly Wishes, stamped on Basic White cardstock in Cherry Cobbler and cut out using one of the labels from Seasonal Labels Dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach greeting label to the card front.

There are only 10 days until Christmas, so go ahead and get your Jingle on! Happy Stamping!

Glittery Holiday Pinecones-Favorite Things Friday

I don’t know why but this time of the year, I seem to be drawn to pinecones and trees and of course all things snowmen. I am loving the Christmas to Remember Bundle. I told myself that I have enough pinecones, but of course I did not listen and so today I bring to you two favorites, pinecones and glittery backgrounds.

The greeting is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set and the background is some of the dies from the Christmas Pinecone Dies. You can save 10% when you bundle the set and the dies, #156806, I just love the greetings in this set and I stepped up the background a bit by using the Gold/Rose Gold Specialty paper featured in the July -December mini catalog.

Supplies

  • Cherry Cobbler CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base)
  • Very Vanilla CS-2½ x 3½
  • Gold/Rose Gold Specialty DSP- 6×6
  • Early Espresso CS-3 x4
  • Christmas to Remember Bundle
  • Seasonal Label Dies
  • Cherry Cobbler Ink
  • Stampin’ Cut n Emboss Machine
  • Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/Liquid Glue
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals

Directions

  • Score card base in landscape position (aka longer side) at 4¼. Fold and burnish to create card.
  • Use the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss to crop background die with the Gold/Rose Gold Specialty Paper. Attach to card front.  I used Liquid Glue, but you can also use the Adhesive Sheets, just apply the sheet to the cardstock before running it through the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss Machine.
  • Next crop the outline die for the pinecones using Early Espresso CS.
  • Stamp the greeting in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla panel and crop with coordinating die from the Seasonal Label Dies.
  • Add 4 x 5¼ panel of Very Vanilla to the inside and decorate as desired.

Both of these Christmas Bundles coordinate with each other and when you order these bundles, you save 10%. I hope you have a great day and create something beautiful to share with someone special in your life. Happy Stamping!!!!
