No Sin is Too Big For God-Sunday Wisdom

Let the first among you without sin cast the first stone.  Thank you Lord, for that is so encouraging!

Our gospel today is a reminder that we are all sinners and that no sin is too big for God to forgive.  What a message of hope.  The Lord’s mercy is upon all who ask!  Jesus is always calling all of us to a higher level of conversion, forgiving our every failure and asking us to begin anew.

We are not defined by our sin, but by how well we receive and accept our Lord’s grace to keep striving for spiritual perfection.  Yes, sometimes our humanness slows us down, but every time we go to the Lord and seek his forgiveness, we are strengthened with renewed grace.

So pick up your cross, embrace it, and ask the Lord to help you carry it!  I promise you will not be disappointed.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your soul –then you will find peace to continue the journey of living and loving all of God’s creation.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Feel better Soon-Back on Your Feet

Today’s card features two sets that are retiring, Back on Your Feet and Positive Thoughts. Don’t wait until the last day, remember products are while supplies last.

I love using our watercolor pencils to add color to so many of our stamp sets so today I choose to highlight the Sloth. I stamped the greenery from Positive Thoughts in Shaded Spruce directly to a 3½ x 4½ panel of white CS. On a piece of white scrap I stamped the sloth in Memento Black ink, colored him with the watercolor pencils and fussy cut him with my paper snips.

I love the way it looks like he is hanging from the vines. I stamped the greeting in Memento black ink and mounted the white panel to a 3¾ x 5 piece of Early Espresso CS, then mounted it to my Shades Spruce card.

This was a fast and relatively easy card, if you minus the fussy cutting. I personally love to fussy cut, but I know many of you are not fans. Coloring is another thing that I love, so yes, that might be a stumbling block for some, but for those of you who love to color, have fun!

Join me again tomorrow for another retiring favorite. If you missed the retiring list, click on the button below to download the pdf.

Some of the items are on sale, so take advantage of these last minute sales before they are gone, plus if you spend $50 or more and use the host code, you also get a chance to win a pack of Genial Gems from me. I ordered the gems last month, so I would not have to worry about stock issues!!!!

2 CHANCES TO WIN

I also ordered a pack of the Holiday Rhinestone basic jewels, so I will give that away as well. YAY! You will get a chance to win both of these gems when you place an $50 order using the host code. Every $50 you spend gets you another chance to win! There are a lot of products on sale, too many to list individually, so be sure to download the pdf and check it out.

2 CHANCES TO WIN

Our current host code is ARG9T366 and is good until the end of the month, but not to worry, I will generate another code for April, so you can continue your chance to win. Saying good-bye to our beloved stamps is always hard, so maybe a chance to win something in the process will make us feel better. LOL

In today’s video I will share with you 5 cards I created using the Sweet As A Peach Bundle as well as my top three favorite retiring stamps, dies, punches and embossing folders. Don’t forget to download the pdf and check out the many products that are on sale, because everyone loves a bargain, right?
