What’s Cookin’ Good Lookin’?

I am excited to share todays card that features the new What’s Cookin? bundle pictured on page 32 in new annual catalog. I plan to use this set to create a scrapbook recipe book for both of my kids. If all goes well it will be finished before Christmas.

I love all the accessories and the old fashion look of this set.

All Measurement=inches CS=Cardstock DSP=Designer Series Paper Landscape Position=Long side Portrait Position=short side

Supplies

Pacific Point Cardstock- 5½ x 8½ card base (score at 4¼), 3½ x 4½
Crumb Cake Cardstock-4 x 5¼
Basic White Cardstock-4¼ x 5½. 4 x 5¼ (inside)
Smoky Slate Cardstock-1x 2½
Pacific Point Ink
Crumb Cake Ink
Smoky Slate Ink
Memento Black Ink
What’s Cookin? Bundle -#155845
Stitched So Sweetly Dies-#151690
Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/Liquid Glue

Directions

Score Pacific Point cardstock in landscape position at 4¼. Fold and burnish to create card base.
Layer Crumb Cake panel to card front.
Use the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine to crop Pacific Point panel with Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhere to front panel at an angle.
Use the Basic White cardstock panel to stamp cooking accessories with What’s Cooking bundle in inks as show and crop with coordinating dies.
Cut a slit in the bowl. Crop the whisk using Smoky Slate cardstock and adhere with other accessories to Pacific Point panel as shown.
Add Basic White cardstock panel to the inside and decorate as desired.

Make it Monday #14 Birthday Book

Hey all it is time again for another Make it Monday tutorial and today we are going to create a birthday book card.

This is a fun project for kids. This project is great if you are planning a birthday party and need a craft or if you just need a fun project to keep your little darlings occupied this summer. Either way, this tutorial is easy and does not require a lot of crafting tools.

I chose to decorate my book with the Hey There Chick and the Hey Birthday Chick bundles, but any stamp set you have will do. Don’t forget the Hey Chick Bundle will be retiring in a few days, so if you need to add that to your stamping supplies, our current host code is: 79GFWYZE.
