Come to the Feast ~ Sunday Wisdom

I wonder how frustrated Jesus must have been with his followers. Time was running out and he has tried to teach everyone through parables and signs of wonder. He basically spelled everything out for his apostles and they still didn’t get it.  Today’s gospel is sobering and yet comforting. Jesus is calling us to place all of our trust in him and to increase not only our prayer life but our deep and personal relationship with Him. If we don’t, we run the risk of Him not knowing who we are. I recently heard a priest that I know and respect reflect on the narrow path to heaven. He asked a simple, but powerful question. It went something like this-What if the narrow path to heaven is only as wide as our faith and our love for others?

What does your path look like?

Our gospel today reminds us that God is a God of all nations and all people. He holds nothing back, so why do we? Jesus invites us to put our hope and our trust in God’s mercy that will widen our path to Him. When we live with an open heart and allow the Holy Spirit to move within us, we widen our path to heaven and there is room for everyone in His Kingdom.

I guess the question for me is, what do I need to do to enter the feast?  Do not be afraid! Have courage! Come, trust, hope, and join Him at the heavenly banquet.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Peaceful Pier-Fun Fact Friday

Happy Saturday all. Here is a Fun Fact Friday post that should have happened yesterday, so sorry about that. Fun Fact: My husband retired a few weeks ago and I totally forgot that it as Friday! Hahahaha! Why I have no idea because I am still working and should know what day it is. LOL

Anyway, today’s card or should I say yesterday’s card is one I made for our team’s color challenge. The challenge was to use the following colors: blackberry bliss, peach pie, gorgeous grape, flirty flamingo, and black. The challenge was to use some or all of the colors. My card today features all of these colors.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card that was supposed to be posted yesterday. But hey, it kinda looks like a retirement card, don’t you think??? hahahaha

I have also created two tags, but it would be an awesome gift card holder as well. This card also features one of the new Christmas paper packs coming in September, so I guess you can consider this a sneak peek at that paper. The pack is called Elegant Pine Snowflakes. Today’s video is the first in four part series, so be sure to stop back on Monday, for part 2.

Hey all, happy Monday. Today I am excited to share a few cards that I received from an Inking Royal card swap. Thanks to my upline, Brian King for organizing. Thanks to the many talented team members who participated in this swap. The cards I received this time did not include the stamp set used or instructions on how to create, so hopefully you can figure that out if you are wanting to reproduce some of these gems.

So let’s take a look:
