Jimmy Buffett might have sung about slowing down, but he was one of the hardest-working musicians around. Over the course of five decades, he completed more than 40 concert tours worldwide, performing for millions of fans. Thank you Jimmy!

He wrote three number-one books: Tales From Margaritaville, Where Is Joe Merchant?, and his memoir A Pirate Looks at Fifty. Only a handful of authors, including Hemingway and Dr. Seuss, have topped both fiction and non-fiction lists like Buffett.
