Get Well & Sympathy / August 2, 2023

Well it appears as though I am continuing with my theme of Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss. Sometimes when I am getting my crafting on, I start creating with the same color schemes. Does that ever happen to you? I was recently crafting with my dear friend Sr. Bernard and I just could not get enough of the Mossy Meadow/ Blackberry Bliss combo.

You have to admit, these colors are perfect for a sympathy card and I love the look of these two sets together. But enough is enough, so I promise I will post a bold and bright card for Friday!!! Stop back and see what exciting colors I choose. I promise it won’t be Mossy Meadow or Blackberry Bliss. Happy Stamping!

Nature’s Prints – Happy Birthday!

Flowers-Birds-Butterflies-Nature, Happy Birthday / August 1, 2023 / Artistically Inked, Nature's Prints, Two Tone Flora

Today I am combining the flowers from Two Tone Flora, the greeting from Artistically Inked and the dies from Natural Prints. I have to admit I don’t often use Natural Prints dies, I tend to go for the stamps so I am challenging myself to create with the dies. If you are in a crafting rut and are having a hard time getting those creative juices flowing, just pick a set that you haven’t used for awhile and see what you come up with.

I began with a Mossy Meadow card base and added a pop of color with Cherry Cobbler for my flowers. I did fussy cut a few individual flowers…..it’s just who I am! LOL Call me crazy, but I have to admit, I think the reason I don’t use this die much is because it is not quite a round wreath! Again, it is just who I am! Happy Stamping!

Happy Retirement-Favorite Things Friday!

Congratulations-Graduation-Retirement, Favorite Things Friday, Masculine Cards / July 28, 2023 / Gone Fishing, Nature's Prints

Although I am a few years away from retirement, I know it will be my favorite thing because then I will be able to craft all day and work won’t get in the way. LOL Well, perhaps I will still need to spend time cleaning and doing laundry, but I am sure I will have more time for crafting! I hope!!

Today’s retirement card is a clean and simple card created using the Nature’ Prints and Gone Fishing stamp sets! I decided just to use one color for a simple monochromatic look. I choose Mossy Meadow.

I think this card would look great with Afternoon Azure and Gorgeous Grape as well. I guess I was going for a more masculine look, so I used the card green……oh Blackberry Bliss would be another great choice. Maybe next time! LOL Happy Stamping!
