Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a blessed week and are ready for the weekend. I know I am.
Today I am excited to share a Paper Pumpkin alternative card using some of the stamps from the Ho Ho Ho October Paper Pumpkin Kit. Paper Pumpkin subscribers get a fun kit in the mail each month and if that is not exciting enough, after you create the projects in the kit you can create even more fun cards like the one I sharing with you today.
This is a pretty simple card so I don’t think it needs much explanation. I colored Santa’s hat and his cherry nose with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend markers . After layering Santa on the Cherry Cobbler circle, I attach him to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals . This little Santa and the ho ho ho are just a few of the stamps in this month’s kit. Come on, you have to admit, his is stinkin’ cute!

This past weekend my hubby and I took a drive to Kimmswick , MO which is a small town in Jefferson County. It is a short 45 minute drive and if you enjoy little craft and knick, knack shops, you might want to check it out. While the weather was absolutely gorgeous, all the trees have not turned yet. Next weekend, Kimmswick will be celebrating their Apple Butter Festival and I am thinking the trees will be just about perfect.
In honor of the fall and changing color of leaves, I thought I would share a two tree fall card I created using the Beauty of Friendship stamp set featured in the annual 2022-2023 catalog.
I began with a Cajun Craze card base and to the top of my card front added a layer of Pear Pizzazz, Cajun Craze and Basic White. The tress trunks are stamped with Early Espresso Ink, and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz and Cajun Craze.
I used the Blending Brush and some Pear Pizzazz ink to create the grass around the tree trunks and stamped the greeting in Early Espresso. The greeting and a piece of Pear Pizzazz CS are cropped using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
Project Measurements
Cajun Craze CS- 5½ x 8½ (card base)
Cajun Craze CS-3-1/8 x 3-7/8
Pear Pizzazz CS- 3¼ x 4, 1½ x 3

I am going to send this card to my mother in law, but I also think it would make a great masculine birthday card. What do you think?

Sometimes it is easier to see the shortcomings in others so we don’t have to face our own insecurities. The link between humility and divine charity always helps us all to follow Jesus more intentionally. But let’s face it, true humility is hard. Daily prayer and living a more generous and charitable life is really the key to growing closer to the Lord.
In today’s gospel the tax collector was aware of his failings and shortcomings and he opened his heart to God and begged for mercy. The Pharisee on the other hand was more interested in singing his own praises.
Of course we should not overlook the good deeds of the Pharisee, clearly he was a spiritual man trying to do the right thing, but because he allowed pride to get in the way, he missed the opportunity to have a sincere encounter God.
Let us lift our hearts in daily prayer in honesty and humility so our hearts will be open and we will be ready to receive all the grace and mercy our Lord has to offer us.
Today, let us reflect on how we can live a more generous and charitable life and invite the Lord in, so we can be transformed by His love.

One of my favorite things is to remember the day I said “I do” to my beloved and tomorrow is our 34th Anniversary. Spoiler alert for beloved hubby as he will probably read this post before I have a chance to give him his anniversary card. Oh well, Happy Anniversary honey!
The inspiration for my card today came from fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Peggy Murwin. I tweaked it a bit using some Starry Sky and Silver glitter cardstock. I chose these two because it reminds me of my engagement ring which is comprised of diamonds and salon sapphires. I thought the Bewitching Bundle was perfect for an October anniversary.
Project Measurements
Starry Sky CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base)
Starry Sky 2½ 5¼
Silver Glitter CS-1½ x 5¼
Basic White CS- 3¾ x 5, 4 x 5¼, 3 x 3
Pumpkin Pie CS- 3 x 3
Granny Apple Green CS- 3 x 3 Scalloped Contours Dies
Celebrating You Stamp Set
Starlit Punch
Memento Black Ink
Stampin’ Blend Combo: Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Starry Sky
Bewitching Stamp Set
Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/Liquid Glue
I also chose to make only two dancing feet and used the Basic White panel as the card front, leaving more room inside for a message. Unfortunately the Witch Hat Builder punch is no longer available, but you can easily fussy cut all the witch hats in the Bewitching set. Here is the inside of my card.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop! Boo! Today we are sharing scary and sweet projects perfect for Halloween. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
For my first card I decided not to go with the traditional Halloween colors, so I started with a Fresh Freesia card base and added strips of Fresh Freesia and So Saffron to a panel of Basic White. The stamps I used for this card are from the September Paper Pumpkin Kit, Spooky Treats. I stamped the stars in Fresh Freesia Ink on the colored panels and attached them at angles to my Basic White layer.
The spooky spiders are stamped in the white spaces with Memento Black ink. The ghosts are also stamped in Memento Black on some scrap pieces of Basic White. Yes, I fussy cut them using my Paper Snips and arranged them on the front of my card. The Boo for both of my cards is from retired set, Banner Year. I really don’t think this set should have retired, but I am trying to let that go. LOL!
My second card features the Bewitching Bundle and the amazing Deckled Rectangle Dies! Oh baby to I love these dies! it gives the perfect spooky look, don’t you think?
I used a blending brush for the grass and the sky scenery. The grass is Granny Apple Green and the sky is Pool Party. I stepped it up by heat embossing the pumpkin from Hello Harvest with Black embossing powder! Click the button above for a free pdf download with pictures and instructions on how to create both of these cards. Happy Halloween!
As always it is a pleasure hoping with you and my InKing Royalty friends! Be sure to hop on over to my good friend Marilyn Jones at Stamp with MJ for more Halloween ideas! There is a lot of inspiration to be found in this group.

Fall is such a festive season and although it is a short season, it always gets me in the mood for the holidays, not to mention all the coffee shops have pumpkin everything. I personally love the beautiful scenery that comes with the falling leaves and foggy mornings.

Create 3 fun fall cards using the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set in the 2022-2023 annual catalog. The leaves are really beginning to turn, which I think is beautiful. The squirrels have been out and about for sometime and I have to say I am not really nuts about squirrels, but I do think this stamp set is adorable.
Don’t forget to click the button below to download the instruction sheet which includes photos, measurements and directions to create all three cards.Click Here if you would to download a copy of the 2022-2023 annual catalog.
