Paper Tearing with a Twist! Weekly Wednesday #42

Good morning all, I trust you are having a fabulous week. Today I am sharing with you a quick and easy paper tearing technique to add a spark to your next card creation. This tearing technique can be used with any designer series patterned paper of your choice and of course, I am adding in my own personal twist by using half DSP and half regular cardstock.

You may have seen a previous video that I did with paper tearing call Rip and Flip. The Rip and Flip concept is the same except I am only using have of the rip and did not flip. LOL This way you can create two card using a 4 x 5 1/2 sheet of DSP and a 4x 5 1/2 sheet of coordinating cardstock.

This fun technique will take your card making to a whole new level. You can use sparkle paper or add that special bling to create a fantastic card. Have fun!

Project Supplies

  • 4 x 5 1/2 piece of DSP, I am using the Sale-a-Bration pack-Bloom Impressions
  • 4 x 5 1/4 piece of coordinating cardstock, I am using Blackberry Bliss
  • 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 cardstock for card base, I am using Shaded Spruce
  • Dies from Spotlight on Nature
  • Bling of choice, I am using the Tinsel Gems
  • Blackberry Bliss Ink
  • Stampin’ Cut n Emboss Machine
  • Stampin’ Liquid Glue or Adhesive of choice
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • So Sincere stamp set
  • Layers of Beauty stamp set

Have fun creating with this super simple paper tearing technique. Happy Stamping!
