Hello Sunshine with Celebrate Sunflowers
Yesterday I shared a video on watercolor techniques for my Make it Monday tutorial and in that video showed you a second card that I created using Stampin’ Up’s inks and the watercolor painter. If you missed that video click here. You can search for all my Make it Monday videos under categories to the right of this post.

Directions
- Score Bumblebee cardstock in landscape position at 4¼. Fold and burnish to create card base.
- Dry emboss the large piece of Early Espresso with the Hammered Metal Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine and attach to card front.
- Layer the smaller Early Espresso panel on the Bumblebee panel and attach to the center of the card front.
- Use the Water Painters and Pool Party to create a background. (Make it Monday Video #17). Let dry @15 minutes or you can speed up the process with the heat tool.
- Once the background is dry, use the Stamparatus and Stazon Jet Black ink to stamp small sunflower onto the piece of pool party watercolored background.
- With the Water Painters and coordinating inks, apply color to the sunflower. Add black dots if desired. I used the splatter dots from the Forever Fern stamp set.
- Crop image using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and add to the center of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp greeting and crop with the double oval punch. Attach to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Everyone needs a little sunshine in their life. I hope this card inspires you to create something beautiful to bless someone’s life today. Stop back tomorrow for the Inking Royal Christmas in July Blog Hop!
