Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a blessed week and are ready for the weekend. I know I am.
Today I am excited to share a Paper Pumpkin alternative card using some of the stamps from the Ho Ho Ho October Paper Pumpkin Kit. Paper Pumpkin subscribers get a fun kit in the mail each month and if that is not exciting enough, after you create the projects in the kit you can create even more fun cards like the one I sharing with you today.
This is a pretty simple card so I don’t think it needs much explanation. I colored Santa’s hat and his cherry nose with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend markers . After layering Santa on the Cherry Cobbler circle, I attach him to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals . This little Santa and the ho ho ho are just a few of the stamps in this month’s kit. Come on, you have to admit, his is stinkin’ cute!

One of my favorite things is to remember the day I said “I do” to my beloved and tomorrow is our 34th Anniversary. Spoiler alert for beloved hubby as he will probably read this post before I have a chance to give him his anniversary card. Oh well, Happy Anniversary honey!
The inspiration for my card today came from fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Peggy Murwin. I tweaked it a bit using some Starry Sky and Silver glitter cardstock. I chose these two because it reminds me of my engagement ring which is comprised of diamonds and salon sapphires. I thought the Bewitching Bundle was perfect for an October anniversary.

Starry Sky CS- 5½ x 8½, (card base)
Starry Sky 2½ 5¼
Silver Glitter CS-1½ x 5¼

Stampin’ Blend Combo: Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Starry Sky

I also chose to make only two dancing feet and used the Basic White panel as the card front, leaving more room inside for a message. Unfortunately the Witch Hat Builder punch is no longer available, but you can easily fussy cut all the witch hats in the Bewitching set. Here is the inside of my card.

I am excited to share with you one of my favorite things, a clean and simple cards. I love simple cards that come together quickly. Today’s card was created with the Happiness Abounds Bundle and the coordinating designer series paper. I cut the designer series on the diagonal and used my paper snips to cut a few flowers to add near the greeting.
Begin with a gorgeous grape card base and Basic White CS to the front. Next add a layer of the designer series paper on the diagonal and stamp greeting in Memento Black ink. Add the cut flowers and you are all finished. Such a simple, yet elegant cards.

Happy Fall Ya’ll! It is finally feeling like fall here in St. Louis and it looks like a great weekend for a baseball game.
The fall leaves are beginning to change colors, the Pumpkin Patch at Theis Farm opens October 1st and the Cardinals are going to the playoffs, and best of all my daughter is coming to STL for the last home game series. Go Cards! Now that is what I call a Favorite Things Friday and it doesn’t get much better than that!
And after all that I guess you are expecting a baseball card! Oh well, an early Thanksgiving card will have to do. I figure, there is no time like the present to plan ahead.
Project Measurements
Cajun Craze CS-5½ x 8 ½
Mossy Meadow CS-1-1/8 x 4¼ (4),
Rustic Harvest DSP-1 x 4¼ (3)
Very Vanilla CS-1 x 4
I created my panels by adding designer series paper to the strips of Mossy Meadow CS and added them to the front of a Cajun Craze card base. The greeting is stamped with Cajun Craze in on Very Vanilla and added to another panel of Mossy Meadow. This is a super quick design that is great card for using those left over scrap pieces of designer series paper.

Happy Friday all! If you have been following me for awhile then you know that one of my favorite things is Fall and right now Stampin’ Up!’s Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper is my favorite fall paper. It is featured in the July – December mini catalog on pages 48,49, and 50.

I love all the vibrant colors and today, I used a piece of the pumpkin patch design. I used the pumpkin side as my accent and the opposite striped side as the background. Good morning my stamping friends! It is time for another Favorite Things Friday and what better way to celebrate today than with one of the adorable Hippos from the Hippest Hippo stamp set that you can earn for FREE by placing a $50 order through my online store. to shop. CLICK HERE
Today, I combined the hats from the Bewitching Bundle with the Hippest Hippos to create a fun Halloween card. I used the Pumpkin Pie paper from the Gingham Cottage Paper pack. To create the hat, I stamped two different hats and used my paper snips to create the mulit-layered design look.
Since I was trying to get the hippos eyes to peek through the hat, I need the brim of the had to be in a slightly lighter color than the polka a dots. I thin strips of Basic Black cardstock for the spiders to hang from. The hippo is stamped in Memento Black and cropped with the Hippo dies, although if you do no have the dies, you could fussy him out.
I highly recommend that you check out the die set for these little guys below because there are so many cute little dies that would coordinate with other stamp sets.
