Sneak Peak Embossing Folder-Weekly Wed.#23

The background on our card today was created using a new embossing folder that will be coming in the next mini catalog. The Birch Wood embossing folder will be a great addition for your fall card making, but it also makes a great textured background as you see in today’s video.

I used a Basic White card, some Blackberry Bliss cardstock and a panel of the new In-Color Petunia Pop. These colors come together to make a stunning card. I also used the Spotlight on Nature leaves and butterfly. See video for more detials.

I hope you enjoyed today’s video, join me next week for more stamping fun with two new videos. I will post a Make It Monday on Monday and another let’s make it together video for our Weekly Wednesday series. Until then, Happy Stamping!

Petunia Pop & Textured Floral

Happy Wednesday. Wow this has been a busy week. So sorry I just ran out of time and so there is not a video today, but I am excited to share a little Petunia Pop with you. I guess some weeks are like that but hey at least it is a short work week with the holiday. I hope your holiday weekend is safe and blessed.

So I began with a Petunia Pop card base. I am really loving this new In-Color. I paired it with some Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive to create this fun card. My flowers and leaves are from the Textured Floral stamp set. I created three 1 x 3″ panels of Petunia Pop and randomly stamped the images on each panel. You could stamp and then cut, either way would work. I already had some scrap cardstock so I cut and then stamped.

I mounted the stamped images on some Blackberry Bliss panels that measure 1-1/4 x 3 -1/4 and attached them across the front of my card base. I then added the greeting from the You are Beautiful stamp set on the bottom of my card. Believe it or not this card came together in less than 10 minutes.

Again, I hope you have a blessed holiday weekend. Be safe and Happy Stamping!

Fantastic Friday~Fields In Bloom

It is always great when Friday rolls around, end of a work week for those of us who are not retired and/or stamping full time! Today, I am sharing another card I created using the Fields In Bloom stamp set. If you missed this week’s Make It Monday video, click here to check it out. I featured this stamp set.

I started with a Balmy Blue card base and added a layer of Gorgeous Grape. The stems are stamped with Garden Green ink and the flower with Gorgeous Grape. I stamped the clouds with Balmy Blue and the greeting with Gorgeous Grape ink.

I hope you have fun playing with this new two step background stamp. Let me know it the comments if you think this is a versatile set. Happy Stamping!
