Layering is a technique used to add dimension and texture to our creations. By combining different papers, textures, and embellishments, layering can guide a viewer’s eye by creating visual cues that strategically highlight focal points. But what if you tried layering with different masking templates like in our Layers of Beauty Bundle. This simple layer helps to add color detail in all the right places.

While this is not a 5 minute card technique, it really does not take long to add the differently layers to your floral image. It does take a bit of patience to let the template do all the work, I am sure you will not be disappointed, as creating these layers is simple and if you take the time to add each layer I am sure you will be amazed with the artistic result. Happy Monday everyone! I am so excited to share with you a sneak peek for a new bundle that will be coming in September in the Holiday Mini Catalog. Coming this fall, Winterly Tree Tops. I know you will have fun creating all year round with this adorable set of birds and greenery. Even though it will debut in the Holiday Mini, it is definitely a set that is great for all seasons.

My mom would have loved this set. She always enjoyed sitting on her deck and watching the birds, especially in the spring as they were building their nests. If you are a bird lover, this bundle is for you!

Today I am excited to share with you a technique I am calling Bubble Up! It is a fun technique that uses bubbles and re-inkers. There are several videos on the internet using dishwashing soap, water, and re-inkers. I just found it a bit easier to use already prepared bubble from the dollar store. I hope you enjoy this fun technique. It is certainly one you can do outside with your kids this summer.

#166 Planted paradise project sheet

Card # 1 was created using the Planted Paradise flower pot and the flowers from Fields In Bloom!

Card #2 was a graduation congratulation for my niece and was created using the Planted Paradise and the Fields in Bloom stamp set.

Card # 3 is just a fun birthday card created using the Planted Paradise and Trusty Tools stamp sets. I am not sure who is going to receive this one yet but I am sure it will be someone who enjoys the art of painting.
