Summer Fun

Summer Sunflowers ~Make It Monday #215

You are going to love, love, love, the new 3-D Sunflowers embossing folder. It has such beautiful detail. Use the embossed and de-bossed images to create beautiful cards. Check out today’s video with these techniques and have fun creating.

Here is a closer look at today’s cards!

There are so many things you can do with this embossing folder. I don’t know about you but I just love sunflowers, they just make me think of summer. This embossing folder made me think of my mom because she was not a sunflower fan. I am not sure why I guess she thought they were to big and messy. She liked geraniums, me not so much. What can I say we had opposite tastes when it came to flowers. Happy Stamping!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Summer is Coming-Time for Ice Cream Swirls

Happy Wednesday, I hope you all have a fabulous day. Did you know that the British football team (that’s soccer if you’re American) “Sheffield Wednesday” started as The Wednesday Cricket Club in 1820. They named themselves after the day on which they played their matches. Who knew and I just thought it was hump day. LOL

Today’s card is all about our Ice Cream Swirl bundle featured in the January – April 2024 catalog. This catalog will soon be retiring so if there is anything you have on your list, I would place that order soon. Once the retiring sets are announced all items are while supplies last.

This is the perfect set to create folded gift card holder or a shaker card. The greetings are so sweet and who could ever pass up an ice cream cone this time of the year. I love the swirls. You can use these dies to create a variety of colored ice cream cones, as well as, some favorite cup cake treats

Ice Cream Swirl Bundle

Featured on page 37 in the mini catalog, this is a must have bundle for your 2024 stamping stash. Have fun creating with this super sweet bundle. Happy Stamping!

Sending Sunshine-InKing Royalty Blog hop!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! This month’s hop projects center around a SUNSHINE theme, so I hope you are ready for some sunshine fun! We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Well I have to admit my friends that I was on the struggle bus with this theme. Not that I don’t enjoy sunshine or spreading joy, I just could not find a stamp set in my collection that I wanted to use. Shocking right? I decided to go with the Sending Smiles stamp set and dies to create a sunny background using our Blending Brushes and some Daffodil Delight ink. The sky was created using one or our In-Colors, Tahitian Tide.

I cut my white cardstock at 3-3/4 x5 and then added the sun and sky. Sending is cut with Basic Black and Tahitian Tide cardstock.
Yes, I cheated and used my Stamparatus to add the greeting! I am so sad we cannot sell this item anymore because it comes in so handy to get a bold image when adding a sentiment over a sponged background.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop Jan Dufour at Stamp Me Silly. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! I hope your day is filled with sunshine. Happy Stamping and have fun!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

A Birthday Milkshake-Favorite Things Friday!

Happy Birthday to my brother, Greg! Today is his birthday and while I am not going to be able to share a Milkshake in person, I thought I would post this card for him. See I promised it would not be Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss! LOL

This bright and bold creation was made with Lemon Lime Twist and Melon Mambo, quite the opposite of the darker neutral colors don’t you think? This fun summertime set is perfect for creating a special birthday card and I hope my brother enjoys his. I even got it in the mail on time, so he can enjoy his online and in-person birthday card!

#blessedbycards

My card base is the bright and cheery Lemon Lime Twist with a layer of Melon Mambo. The spoon is stamped with Pecan Pie ink on Pecan Pie cardstock. The fountain glass is a combo of Lemon Lime Twist and Smoky Slate and don’t forget the red cherry on top! Happy Stamping!!!!
