Hey friends I am back with another Weekly Wednesday video and the designer series paper pack for today’s card is on the Last Chance list. Click Here for the Shades and Hues and other products that are on sale. I know this paper pack will get your creative juices flowing.
To create today’s card, begin with a 4 x 5 -1/4 piece of designer series paper. The color of course is your choice. I choose the Pool Party-Coastal Cabana hues. Cut the panel in portrait position (short side at the top) at 2-1/2. Simply flip the smaller piece so the solid side is showing and attach both pieces to a Basic White card base. See video for details.
I stamped the solid banner from Kiss of Texture with Pool Party ink. The greeting is from Simply Said and stamped with Coastal Cabana. The banner dies from Stylish Shapes crop this banner perfectly-who knew? I love it when everything coordinates. Add a strip of Coastal Cabana CS and a few pearls and you are all set. Love it! This paper pack does all the work,. Be sure to order your pack today as it is on the Last Chance Product list and supplies are limited!

Well as promised on Monday I am back with two cards using the Kiss of Texture stamp set. This set makes the kissing technique super simple. Plus you don’t even need to kiss, you can use these stamps by themselves. It is very cold and snowy here, so it is a great time to be inside crafting. Have fun creating!
Here is the card without the Pool Party ribbon!
For card#1 I used Pool Party in for my solid square and Shaded Spruce to kiss the flower image. See video for details on the kissing technique. The greeting is from Simply Said and stamped with Shaded Spruce ink. I cropped the square images using the Stylish Shapes dies. These are such amazing dies, I hope they never retire!
Here is Card #2
For card #2 I began with a Fresh Freesia card base and added a Night of Navy layer. I used the circles from the Stylish Shape dies to create this fun circle thank you card. The greeting is from Simply Said, stamped with Night of Navy ink and cropped with the Labeled with Love dies. The solid circles are stamped with Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia. I kissed the fun arch stamp to the blue circles with Night of Navy and to the Fresh Fressia circles with Petunia Pop ink. I added a few purple backed adhesive sequins for a little pop.
These are the Stylish Shapes dies that I used. Fun Fact: The short fat banner cuts the banner from the Kiss of Texture perfectly. I will post a card on Friday using both of these.
I know if you order these they will quickly become your go to dies for a ton of projects. If you place an order through my website, don’t forget to use the current host code. Happy Stamping!

Did you know that a study in the Journal of Aging Research found that babies born during the autumn months are more likely to live to 100 than those born during the rest of the year. Who knew. Their study found that 30% of US centenarians born during 1810-1895 were born in the autumn months. I am not sure how accurate these statistics are for today, but it is interesting. While there is not an official study, I believe that people born in the spring tend to have a sunny disposition. Fun Fact: I was born in April. LOL
Today’s card celebrates all those beautiful people born in the fall. Hope you have a blessed weekened!
Even though my birthday is not in the fall, I do love the fall season. The changing of leaves, the cooler weather, those crisp cool night by the fireplace. There is just something comfortable and cozy about fall. Happy Stamping!

Hey all today I am sharing a card with you that I created using the Layers of Beauty Bundle. The masks in this bundle make it super simple to add shading and look like a real artist. Shhhh don’t tell anyone that I am so very far from being that! But you will love this bundle because it is so super simple and look at the amazing results.
I started with a Blueberry Bushel card base and the next layer is one of my “Bubble Up” backgrounds. I showed this technique several weeks ago and I am still enjoying creating these soft backgrounds for a little “wow” on my cards. Click here if you missed that tutorial. The thanks is from Simply Said and along with the masks from the bundle, I used a blending brush with Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel to create my flowers.
Fun Fact
Did you know that bubbles for kids have been around for centuries! Depictions of bubble blowing, dated to around 1733,show children using pipes to blow bubbles, according to the Bubble Blower Museum website. The article goes on to mention that pipes and, later, wands were the earliest mass produced bubble blowers, with the earliest patents dating to the 1920s.
I remember doing bubbles with wands in my grandma’s backyard. Such fun and who knew that I would never grow up and am now using bubbles in my crafting! I encourage you to be a kid again and give this fun technique a try. I promise you will not be disappointed. Happy Stamping!

Layering is a technique used to add dimension and texture to our creations. By combining different papers, textures, and embellishments, layering can guide a viewer’s eye by creating visual cues that strategically highlight focal points. But what if you tried layering with different masking templates like in our Layers of Beauty Bundle. This simple layer helps to add color detail in all the right places.

While this is not a 5 minute card technique, it really does not take long to add the differently layers to your floral image. It does take a bit of patience to let the template do all the work, I am sure you will not be disappointed, as creating these layers is simple and if you take the time to add each layer I am sure you will be amazed with the artistic result. Happy Stamping!
