Thinking of You

Something Old & Something New

Today I am sharing with you a card that I created using an old and a new stamp set. Planted Paradise is a set that was featured in the 2023-2024 annual catalog and will be carrying over to our next annual catalog. And the new set, Unbounded Love, will be featured for the first time in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog coming May 1st.

I used Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive and Cajun Craze ink for the potted leaves. This set does not come with dies so I did use my Paper Snips to cut out the leaf accessories and the pot. I used our Lost Lagoon cardstock to create my card base and stamped the potted planters with Lost Lagoon ink.

The greetings from Unbounded Love are stamped with Memento Black ink. I already love this new stamp set and I think you will too. It not only has some wonderful greetings but some messages for the inside of our cards, yahoo! Although the Unbounded Love stamp set is part of a bundle with some cool frames and florals, my greetings today are stamped directly to the Basic White panel that I attached to the card front.

Here is a closer look at today’s new sneak peek bundle.

Unbounded Love Bundle coming May 1st.

You can order this bundle beginning May 1st, so be sure to stop back and add that to your card on May 1st. Happy Stamping!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Planted Paradise-Make It Monday #155

Do you love potted plants? I do, I just cannot keep them alive, so I really love the Planted Paradise stamp set, it is totally safe for me. LOL I created three cards today with varying degrees of difficulty but all doable for the beginner stamper. All you need is a stamp set, some ink and of course our Paper Snips!

Yes, this stamp set does not come with a punch or dies and so it is a fussy cut project. Don’t worry, the images are all super easy to cut out and I cannot say it enough but our Paper Snips are the bomb and will make it so much easier for you, trust me! Actually don’t trust me, order a pair for yourself, try them out, and let me know what you think!

A Closer Look

Wow, that was fun, three super easy cards that will bring a smile to someone’s face I am sure. So why not be that person who sends a handmade card to brighten the lives of others. After all we can change the world with one small act of kindness a day! Happy Stamping!

Vintage Bottle Punch

What is your favorite, punches or dies? In my craft room I think I have a good mixture of both. I love that punches are super fast but I also love that dies are not as heavy and bulky when I pack up to craft with a friend. I love that dies have less restrictions allowing you to place them wherever you want to create a cut out, punches on the other hand, not so much.

Either way I love them both. And one of the cool things in the new 2024-2025 catalog is a new bundle where you can choose either a punch or dies. So far I think there is only one bundle offering a choice but who knows more may be featured in our future online exclusives. Mark your calendar for the new catalog coming May 1st.

Our card today features the Vintage Bottle punch. I punched 4 bottles from Boho Blossom cardstock and colored them with Boho Blossom and Night of Navy Blend markers. The Crumb Cake accent is embossing with the Painted Texture embossing folder.

I love the look of our Crumb Cake cardstock with the Night of Navy. My greeting is from the Layering Leaves stamp set. There are so many things you can do with this punch. Have fun playing around with different colors and create your own bottle design. This gem of a punch will be retiring at the end of the month. Click Here for my post on Last Chance products. Happy Stamping!

Inked &Tiled-Trust in the Lord

Here is another card creation from the retiring Inked & Tiled stamp set featured in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog (AC). Many of the products in this catalog and the January – April 2024 mini catalog will be retiring at the end of April, click below for the Last Chance lists.

Beginning April 9th many of these products will be on sale, but supplies are limited and will only be available while supplies last. If there is something you really want to add to your crafting stash, I would recommend you get it now while it is still available. Happy Shopping!

I created a panel of designer series paper using the single flower from the Inked & Tiled stamp set. I cut a strip of Basic White CS and randomly stamped the single flower using Calypso Coral ink. The first stamp was with full ink and I then stamped a second time before re-inking to create a lighter look, aka second generation stamping.

The greeting is from the Courage and Faith stamp set and is stamped with Memento Black ink on a panel of Basic White. I used the Nested Essential Dies to crop the greeting and added it to the card front as shown. I hope this inspires you to create something beautiful to share today. Happy Stamping!

Delicate Forest-Favorite Things Friday

Happy Friday, I hope you are all staying warm. I have another card for you today using the Delicate Forest Silhouette stamp set. I created my background using a blending brush and some Tahitian Tide ink. Gently apply several layers of ink over a Basic White panel of cardstock. It is important to go slow and apply several layers to get a smooth looking background. Using our blending brushes is one of my favorite ways to create unique backgrounds.

DELICATE FOREST

To highlight the look of this silhouette stamp set I used Memento Black ink. The greeting is from the Easter Lilies bundle. I am looking forward to using a variety of different ink colors to create more with the Delicate Forest. Happy Stamping!
