Thinking of You

New In-Colors Favorite Things Friday

Flowers-Birds-Butterflies-Nature, Just Because Cards, Thinking of You /

A shout out to all the wonderful moms and mom like figures in our lives. Praise God for all the love we have been given. I pray you will all have a blessed Mother’s Day weekend. If you change out the greeting in my card today, it could easily make a great Mother’s Day card.

Early this week I posted a Paper Pumpkin alternative card idea using the new In-Color Petunia Pop. Today, my card features the Shy Shamrock and an old favorite, Pretty In Pink. For those of you who were around several color refreshes ago, Pretty In Pink was a very popular color so I am thrilled they decided to bring it back. Click here to check out the new In-Colors in the Annual Catalog.

2024-2026 In Colors

I decided on a Basic White card base and used the Textured Floral stamp set for today’s card. I stamped the leaves in Shy Shamrock for the background panel and the flowers with Pretty In Pink. The flowered panel measures 3 x 4 and is backed with a thin layer of Basic Black CS. I also added a Basic Black layer to the leaves that measures 4 x 5-1/2. The leaf panel is 3-3/4 x 5.

I decided to add a black center for my flowers and stamp my greeting in black to tie it all together. I really love the way the black makes these softer In-Colors pop. I hope you enjoy creating with these amazing In-Colors. Happy Stamping!

Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Online Exclusive-Weekly Wed. #15

Online Exclusives, Thinking of You, Weekly Wednesday Videos /

I am sure you will love, love, love, the new Latte Love Bundle that was released last month. This is an online exclusive and although our new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog goes live today, click below to download your digital copy, this sweet bundle will not be featured. You can however, click here to see this bundle and many more online exclusive stamp sets that are available for purchase. So let’s create a super fun card today.

https://youtu.be/KwCazg2Uf5k

I started with an Early Espresso card base and added a layer of Basic White that I embossed using the new So Sweetly Embossing folder featured on page 129. Although you cannot tell from the catalog, this embossing folder is super sized and perfect for creating those larger card fronts and slimline cards. This embossing folder measures 6 x 8 -1/2. The Dotted Circle Embossing folder is also supersized. All other folders pictured on page 129 are regular size.

The Early Espresso piece on the front measures 2-3/8 x 4 and the coffee bean designer series paper measures 2-1/4 x 3-7/8. I used my paper snips to fussy cut the coffee cups and the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss to crop the spoons. Just add three little brown gems and your card is ready to send. I really love the way the So Swirly embossing folder brings out the background of this card. I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot more if it in the future.

Flowering Zinnias Vines-Weekly Wed. #14

Just Because Cards, Online Exclusives, Thinking of You / /

Hey friends, I am going to bring back my Weekly Wednesday video where I create a card with you, not live because I am too chicken and don’t really have the equipment yet, but you can create along with me weekly through my YouTube Channel. If you have been following me then you know that I have been featuring the new online exclusive Flowering Zinnias suite collection.

This is not featured in the catalog because it is an online exclusive and if you don’t want the entire collection, just pick and choose what you want. The Simply Zinnia Bundle features the stamp set and the dies while the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series paper pack and adhesive backed sequins can be purchased separately.

Today I thought it would be fun to create a card that features the leafy vine pattern in the paper pack. I paired it with a card base of Lemon Lime Twist with a little black border. Just like the little black dress in your closet makes you look fabulous, a little black border is just what this card needed.

Again the greeting is from Courage and Faith and is stamped with our Memento Black ink. I really love how well the Lemon Lime Twist matches this paper. Here is a closer look at the paper pack. Gorgeous!!!!!!!
