Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! As the weather gets warmer, it’s time to start planning our trips to the beach, the lake or the in-town aquarium. Today we’re sharing projects inspired by the ocean and sea – we are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! I don’t think there is anything more relaxing than sitting in the warm sun listening to the ocean waves. Today’s card reminds me of a peaceful beach scene and since the weather here in St. Louis is a little brisk for this time of year, I am really longing for a warm sandy beach somewhere, but alas my Ocean Front card will have to do.

In addition to the Ocean Front stamp set, I used the Blending Brushes to add a Balmy Blue sky and the greeting is from Dahlia Days, which is also featured in the January – June 2022 mini catalog.

Welcome to another Make it Monday tutorial. Today I am excited to share with you a fun fold card using the Faux Step technique using the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle in the January -June 2022 mini catalog. While this bundle will be retiring, you still have an opportunity to add it to your stamping stash.

Sweet Friend-Favorite Things Friday

Wow I cannot believe it is already Friday, and Good Friday at that. Can you believe that April is already half over? Easter time is one of my favorite times of the year because it is a good excuse to bake something sweet. This year my parents are coming over for brunch so I plan to make homemade cinnamon rolls.

My card today is a tribute to all those bakers in your life and features the Measure of Love stamp set. It is not only a fun and easy card, it is very colorful too!

I began with a Pacific Point cards base and added a layer of Pear Pizzazz and Melon Mambo. The white panel was cut using the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss machine and the Stitched So Sweetly dies. The bowls are stamped with Pacific Point, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz inks, and yes, I fussy cut the bowls with my paper snips.

Arrange the bowls along the side and stamp the greeting with Pacific Point ink. Add a layer of white to the inside and feel free to decorate the inside with other bowl.

Favorite Things Friday-Flowers of Friendship

Thinking of You /

Tomorrow is the first day of Spring and what better way to celebrate than with flowers and friends. My card today features the Flowers of Friendship Bundle. I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to color these sweet flowers, all supplies are listed at the end of this post.

I began with a Basic Black card base and added a 4x 5¼” layer of Poppy Parade to the front. The white panel measures 3¾ x 5 and I stamped the images with Memento Black ink.

I This sweet card went together so quickly and will be going to my Mother in-law and I hope it brightens her day. I hope you days is filled with sunshine and spring flowers.
