Easy Glue Dot Tips-Weekly Wednesday #1

Today I am excited to share with you 6 easy tips for using Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Glue Dots in my first Weekly Wednesday Tutorial. For the first card I used the Jar of Flowers stamp set. See supply list and details below.

Cutting Measurements

All Measurement=inches  CS=Cardstock DSP=Designer Series Paper  Landscape Position=Long side   Portrait Position=short side

Supplies

  • Pale Papaya Cardstock – 5½ x 8½, 3¼ 4¼  
  • Basic White Cardstock- 3 x 4, 3 x 3, 4 x 5¼ (inside)
  • Jar of Flowers set
  • Jar Punch
  • Welcoming Window (greeting)
  • Colored Pencils
  • Memento Black Ink
  • Blender Pens
  • Mini Glue Dots
  • Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Picture This Dies
  • Misty Moonlight
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Stampin’ Seal Adhesive/ Liquid Glue

Directions

  • Score 8½ x 5½ Pale Papaya cardstock in landscape position at 4¼. Fold & burnish to create card.
  • Layer 4 x 5¼ Just Jade to card front.
  • Stamp jar image and greeting in Memento Black on 3×3 piece of white cardstock.
  • Punch jar with coordinating punch and greeting with the Rectangular Postage Punch.
  • Stamp floral image on 3 x 4  white panel and apply color using watercolor pencils.  Use Blender Pens to smooth out color.
  • Use Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensinals to attach images as shown in video tutorial.
  • Decorate the inside as desired
