Fresh New Colors-Favorite Things Friday!

Favorite Things Friday, Sales and Announcements /

It is time for a color change! Yes, it has been awhile since Stampin’ Up! updated its color offerings, so check out the fresh new colors, the colors that are returning, and sadly, those that will be retiring.

The Color Refresh will launch in the 2023 Annual Catalog.  So let’s get excited, because some of our old favorites are returning, like Pretty Peacock, Misty Moonlight and Blueberry Bushel.  But of course for every up side there is a down and I am sad to say good-bye to Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay, not to mention Soft Suede and Rich Razzleberry. But not to worry, we have some awesome replacements and that is surely a favorite thing for this Friday.

Hello New Colors:

Welcome Back-Returning Colors

Bye Bye-Retiring Colors

New 2023-2025 In-Colors

Now that is a lot of color this rainy Friday and I hope some of them brighten your day. These colors will launch in the new annual 2023-2024 annual catalog coming in May.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Four Square-Enjoy Life!

Happy Birthday, Summer Fun /

Now that spring is here, I thought I would share another Sweet Citrus card with you. Today’s card inspiration is a patterned four square using the Rain or Shine Designer Series paper. I began with a Daffodil Delight card base and a 3-3/8 square of Flirty Flamingo. My designer series squares measure 1-1/2″ and are mounted on a 3-1/8″ square of white cardstock.

#blessedbycards

The greeting is stamped on a 1 x 3-1/4″ piece of white in Memento Black ink and layered on a 1-1/8 x 3-3/8″ piece of Flirty Flamingo. I stamped the fruit with Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight ink and used the Hybrid embossing folder to emboss and cut the fruit.

This really is a sweet card to send to that special someone who just may need a little bit of sunshine. I hope you enjoy this card, CLICK HERE to check out my Make It Monday video for more details on how to use the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Happiness Abounds-You Matter!

Flowers-Birds-Butterflies-Nature, Thinking of You /

I just love the Happiness Abounds bundle and the sweet greetings in this stamp set and I know I use the happy birthday all the time, so today I am using the You Matter to So Many greeting from the Something Fancy Bundle, another great set. I will be mailing this card to my mother in law, who turned 91 yesterday. No it is not her birthday card, I sent that last week, but she does enjoy getting hand-stamped cards in the mail each week, even when it is not her birthday.

Perhaps there is someone you know who would love to receive a homemade card from you. Just click the shop with me button below and start collecting supplies today, soon you will be creating something beautiful to share with others.

#blessedbycards

I started with a Crushed Curry card base and cut an access strip of Crushed Curry for across the lower portion of my cards. The Designer Series paper is from the Hues of Happiness paper pack on page 132 in the annual catalog. I stamped the greeting on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and cropped it with the Label Me Fancy Punch. I used Stampin’ Seal Adhesive to attach the strip and Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the greeting.

This was a super simple card that not only uses minimal supplies, but comes together in about 5 minutes. So if you have a bunch of cards to send out, this is a perfect design for you. Happy Stamping!

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae

I will Never Leave You-Sunday Wisdom

2 Comments / Sunday Wisdom /

Have you ever been so blinded by what you thought was true that you actually missed out on something real?  Sometimes we let our fears and our presumptions of what we think other people are doing and saying steal our joy.  And so, Jesus wept.

God always stands ready to welcome us, regardless of what we have done, how we have failed and especially when we turn away from him in anger.  He is not making a list of how to get back at us. He wants to offer us forgiveness, mercy and peace.  When we experience a mercy so full of love and compassion, we realize it not only forgives our sins and weaknesses, it changes our hearts.

Jesus weeps for us and waits for us.  He longs to fill that part of our heart that is missing.  When we struggle He is by our side.  When we are filled with grief, Jesus longs to hold us close to His Sacred Heart, even if we cannot feel His presence, He is with us.  Jesus understands our darkest hours and is waiting to comfort and console us.

So with faith and confidence in God’s unconditional love and abundant mercy, let us turn to him in our time of need and ask for forgiveness.  He will heal us!

My Lord and My Savior, in good times and bad, thank you for never abandoning me.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, be blessed, Renae
