Easter-Spring

Clean and Simple Stamping!

Happy Wednesday everyone. Sorry but due to technical difficulties, there will be no video today, but I am happy to share with you a super simple card that I created using some Basic White cardstock, our scoring tool, the dotted circle embossing folder and some dies from the Petals of Beauty bundle. I hope you enjoy this fun card and I hope to be back next week with more stamping inspirational videos!

I used the simply scoring tool to create lines around my first Basic White panel 4 x 5-1/4. I then used the Dotted Circles embossing folder to emboss another Basic White panel, 2-1/2 x 3-1/2, mounted in on a Basic White panel, 2-3/4 x 3-3/4 and then to my scored white panel. Do you sense a theme here? Yes, I was going to go totally white and then I decided to add a bit of Night of Navy. The leaf image is from Petals of Beauty and I added a splash of Cherry Cobbler flowers, which are from the Springtime Scenes dies.

Yes, I fussy cut my stamped greeting from Friendly Foliage and added it to the card front. Just add bling of your choice. I chose the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots. Next week I hope to bring you more white on white inspiration. I really love this look for the spring and honestly sometimes the simplicity of Basic White gets overlooked.

Join me next week for more card inspirations, hopefully a video on Monday and Wednesday. Happy Stamping!

Until next time, be blessed, Renae

Make It Monday #249-Notes of Spring

Hey friends, I am excited to share with you the March product of the month, Notes of Spring. If you don’t have this cute little set, you still have time to place a $75 order before the end of the month. I am sure you will love playing with these sweet little characters. They make great spring and Easter cards!

It is really hard to pick a favorite, but I think I am partial to the stinkin’ cute duckling. It would make a sweet birthday card for all ages. Have fun creating with this cute set. The sky is the limit!

A Closer Look at today’s cards!

I stamped and cut out my cute little duckling, but that is only because I dropped this little guy when I was stamping on my white panel. Not to worry, there are no mistakes in stamping, only creative opportunities, so I just stamped him again and used my handy dandy paper snips to cut him out. Whala, it is fixed! You can just stamp your image directly to the card panel, or stamp and crop him. Either way his is so stinkin’ cute.

I stamped and used my paper snips to crop these little ones on purpose. It was much quicker and easier than masking, but either way will work.

I usually don’t use much of the Sea Foam cardstock, but today, I guess I was in the mood for a little light colored spring. I think it turned out perfectly if I do say so myself. I love the tone on tone look. I did add a but of ink with a sponge dauber to the greeting just for a little darker highlight! Love it~

I hope you have fun playing with this sweet set. If you don’t have it, I would love for you to place a qualifying order with me, just click the Shop with Me button below! Happy Stamping!

Happy Easter ~ Five Minute Friday

Happy Friday everyone. It is almost Easter and time to celebrate our risen Lord. I hope you have great cause to celebrate and gather with family this holiday. Today’s Easter card was created using a retired set, Thoughout the Year, and a last chance product, Flowers of Beauty. The two step flowers in this stamp set make it super easy to create a five minute Easter Card.

I stamped the solid portion of my flower with Boho Blue ink (last chance product) and the detailed outline with Misty Moonlight ink. Before stamping the Boho Blue on my card front, I first stamped it off on a piece of scrap paper. This will give you a lighter look for your flower, but one that still coordinates perfectly with the Boho Blossom cardstock.

The Boho Blossom card base sized is A2 and I stamped my images on a Basic White panel that measures 4 x 5 1/4. I cut a 1/2 x 5 1/4 inch Boho Blosssom CS and added it across the width of my card just under the greeting. Just add bling of your choice and you are ready to go.

If you don’t have black dot bling, you can always cheat and use a black sharpie marker. I do this alot when stamping with my nursing home friends. The tiny bling pieces are too difficult for them to manage, but the sharpie works great! Happy Stamping! Have a Blessed Easter!
