Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January 2023 Blog Hop! If your craft projects aren’t already filled with hearts, then you might be behind the eight ball. No worries – we are here to help. I am not a big Valentine’s Day fan! I am not really sure why, I guess it just seems like a lot of hype for one day so I decided to create an anniversary card instead. Of’ course the card I am sharing with you now is so not what was in my head. LOL. I really hate it when that happens. I totally intended on creating with the Heart Punch pack, but so it goes.

Instead of the Heart Punch Pack the star of today’s show is the Cheerful Basket Bundle from the annual catalog. I kept the idea of creating an Anniversary card but trust me, it is good that I abandoned ship. Perhaps is the coming weeks I will give the Heart Punch pack another whirl.

I started with a Pool Party card base and added a layer of the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. My colored hearts are designed to bring out the colors in the designer series paper, so I chose Pool Party, Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape. I used my Paper Snips to cut the hearts so I could bundle the colors together. I just love the tiny little heart dies in this bundle so I sprinkled a few of those in too. The greeting is from Celebrating You.

Sale-A-Bration Favored Flowers DSP

Today I am combining the Biggest Wish stamp set with some of the new Favored Flowers Designer Series paper pack. This paper pack is a FREE item in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Just purchase $50 from my online store and choose this paper pack for your free item.

I used some Petal Pink cardstock to match the flowers in the paper and added another panel of Petal Pink that I cropped using the Color and Contour dies. The greeting is from Biggest Wish and is stamped with Evening Evergreen ink. I stamped the greeting on Basic White and cropped with the Scalloped Contour dies. I then used my paper snips to cut away the scallop edges on the white panel. I mounted the greeting to the Petal Pink with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Whiskey Business Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my Dad’s 85th birthday and I am sure with losing my mom in June, this will be a difficult day for him, not that all days are not difficult. We are planning to go to 7 a.m. Mass this morning and then take him out for breakfast. Some of my siblings will be joining us, so it should be a fun celebration.

I used a the light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend Marker to color some definition on the canister and glasses. For the whiskey I used the light So Saffron and Cajun Craze. The greeting is stamped in Early Espresso and cropped with one of the circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The Cajun Craze panel is embossing with the Timber 3-D folder.

A View from Inside

I decided to use the Happy Birthday from Happiness Abounds. I really love the combo of print and cursive on a greeting.

I really hope my Dad enjoys this card and his Birthday breakfast! Happy Birthday Dad I love you. I know Mom is looking down on you from heaven, so it is bound to be a perfect day!

I hope you all had a great holiday. I was a bit under the weather the past few weeks, and am tying to get my crafting mojo back. I created the white oval using one of the dies in the Framed Florets Bundle. These are fantastic dies and I really miss our oval dies, so I am sure I will be using the center of these dies a lot. The paper is the Starry Night design from the Dainty Flowers. I love how this designer paper pack has great flowers for that stand alone card, as well as, some fun colored designs for creating cards like the one today.
