Hello my stamping friends, it is time for another Make It Monday tutorial. Wow, I cannot believe this is episode #71!

Today I am sharing a fun technique on how to create a festive door using simple cardstock rectangles. This makes a great holiday card, but would also make a perfect card for someone moving to a new address. Don’t forget to download the free pdf instruction sheet. How Strong Are You? Sunday Wisdom

In today’s gospel, Jesus refers to the strong who will be able to enter the narrow gate. How strong are you and how do we build up our strength? Jesus did not give us a routine exercise to follow, but he did give us the church. We must continue to exercise our trust in the Lord and have faith that we are given all we need, not always what we want, but what we need to grow in love.

We need God’s sanctifying grace to grow stronger spiritually, and to grow in holiness. We need to recognize that we are not alone. God is love and he is not going anywhere, regardless of how many times we turn our backs on Him. He is not going to go love some and not others. He does not change His mind about loving us because we made a bad choice.

This is great news for us and brings us hope. God loves the good and the bad. His sun shines on everyone and so we continue to build up our strength by loving others and growing in our relationship through prayer. When we trust that God gives us all that we need, we grow in humility and recognize our need for His mercy. As we open our hearts we can then recognize that God has many more graces waiting for us; graces that will continue to build up our strength.

So go ahead, flex those trust muscles and begin building up strength to enter that narrow gate. Jesus, have mercy on me. Jesus, I trust in you. God Bless you all!

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! Can you believe it’s already time for schools to start back up?! The return to school after summer vacation is a really big deal for students, teachers, school workers and the parents who are left home alone. To honor this big event, we have created projects with a back to school theme. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I created today’s blog hop card using the Cheerful Basket Bundle, Garden Birdhouses and Forever Fern stamp sets. Begin with a Basic White card base and add a layer of Daffodil Delight. Use the basket dies to crop a Crumb Cake basket and color it with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp and crop the crafting/school tools and color with coordinating Stampin’ Blend markers and add basket to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greetings are from Garden Birdhouses and Forever Fern stamp sets. Whether you are a student or a teacher, I hope you have a fabulous year.
