Well the weekend at Danvers Days was so much fun and the weather was absolutely beautiful, but not so much this week. So glad that event is not this weekend. CLICK HERE for our August Stamp Camp Class dates and be sure to RSVP if you are planning to join us.
My card today comes from a demonstrator event in July. Ornetta Gilliam was so sweet to offer me one of her card swaps even though I did not have time to make any cards for the swap. Thank you Ornetta for your kindness and your beautiful card.
Ornetta’s beautiful card was created using the Translucent Florals stamp set that will be available in the upcoming September mini catalog. It looks like she used Tahitian Tide, Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive ink. I think she used the Deckled Rectangles Dies to add the Gorgeous Grape and Tahitian Tide panels.
You cannot tell from the picture but she used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up that panel and added a few basic rhinestones to seal the deal. It is a very pretty card and I am so grateful to Ornetta for sharing it with us. Happy Stamping!

Today I am sharing with you a sneak peek at a new stamp set that is coming in September, Year to Celebrate. August seems to be the month for birthdays in my family so I decided to create a birthday gift card holder for today’s Make It Monday video. This gift card holder is not only perfect for a gift card, but also a check, some cash or that special birthday note for the perfect gift. Rnjoy!
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s August Blog Hop! This month’s hop projects center around a SUNSHINE theme, so I hope you are ready for some sunshine fun! We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Well I have to admit my friends that I was on the struggle bus with this theme. Not that I don’t enjoy sunshine or spreading joy, I just could not find a stamp set in my collection that I wanted to use. Shocking right? I decided to go with the Sending Smiles stamp set and dies to create a sunny background using our Blending Brushes and some Daffodil Delight ink. The sky was created using one or our In-Colors, Tahitian Tide.
I cut my white cardstock at 3-3/4 x5 and then added the sun and sky. Sending is cut with Basic Black and Tahitian Tide cardstock. Yes, I cheated and used my Stamparatus to add the greeting! I am so sad we cannot sell this item anymore because it comes in so handy to get a bold image when adding a sentiment over a sponged background.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop Jan Dufour at Stamp Me Silly. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it! I hope your day is filled with sunshine. Happy Stamping and have fun!

Hello friends, it is time again for another Make It Monday tutorial and today I am sharing with you how to create a gift box for the holidays that perfectly fits the mini hand-sanitizers from Bath and Body. This is a great stocking stuffer and the perfect holiday gift for your co-workers.
Download the template below and you will be able to create three gift boxes using one sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock. Of course you will need extra cardstock, designer series paper and bling to decorate your boxes, so have fun creating. As you know I am preparing for a weekend vendor event in Danvers, Illinois and so many of the supplies I am using today are retired, but not to worry I am sure you already have most of the supplies you will need to create these boxes adorable boxes.
So I am creating cards for a weekend vendor next weekend (August 18-20) in Danvers, Illinois and realized that I don’t have enough baby cards in my inventory. Of course I went through all my adorable baby sets and realized I do not have a current baby set! Oh my, we will have to remedy that.
So today’s cards are truly a flash back to when “Something Baby” was in the annual catalog. I do believe this is my all time favorite baby set from Stampin’ Up!
Danvers is small town outside of Bloomington/Normal where my grandma lived. I have so many fond memories of visiting her while in college (Illinois State University) and of course visiting Danvers Days before my kids were born, but especially when they were little. I have not been to Danvers Days since my daughter was 8 years old and she will be 30th this month! Yikes, it has been a long time.
If you live in Illinois mark your calendars for August 18-20 and come check out Danvers Days!

I recently attended an event where the patchwork pieces were used to create a card very similar to today’s post. My friend and fellow demonstrator Sarah created the patchwork design. I love working with this die, but I am thinking my eye sight is not what it used to be as some of my patches are a little off, but hey that’s what makes a handmade card unique, right?
The card base was created using a piece of the new Azure Afternoon cardstock. It is layered on some Blueberry Bushel and some Berry Burst cardstock. If you have been stamping awhile then you might remember that Berry Burst was a past In-color that is now in our full line of color options.
The greeting is from the Wanted to Say dies featured on page 167 in the 2023-2024 annual catalog. I cropped those in white and Blueberry Bushel. If you have not checked out these dies, they are very versatile and add the perfect pop to any creation. If you earned some bonus coupons last month, this would be a great time to redeem them. All bonus coupons must be redeemed before August 31st! Happy Stamping!

Today’s card is a fun fold using the Courage and Faith stamp set with the Countryside Corners bundle and the Countryside Inn designer series paper pack. I love all the scripture saying in this set and of course love, love, love all the blues in this paper pack.
I began with a Blueberry Bushel card base and scored it at 2-1/8 and at 4-1/4. I folded the card in half and the back onto itself at the 2-1/8″ score. The strip of designer series paper measures 2 x 4 and is layered on the folded back portion of the card front. I then cut the frames using the Countryside Corner dies with Blueberry Bushel and Boho Blossom cardstock.
I stamped the frame outline from Countryside Corners and the greeting from Courage and Faith with Blueberry Bushel on a piece of Basic White scrap and cut using the corner dies. Mount it to the left side of your card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and add a few silver pearls and your card is complete.
I hope your heart is full of trust today and always. Happy Stamping!
