I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! Today’s Make it Monday tutorial features the Delicate Edges Dies that can be found in the 2022-2023 annual catalog. I am featuring four cards using most of the delicate borders from this die set.
Today’s cards also feature two of our new in-colors, Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis. I hope you enjoy creating with these fun border dies and would love to see what you design.
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, be blessed, Renae
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you have a blessed day with friends and family! God’s Blessings for a safe and healthy holiday!
As we celebrate the birth of Our Lord, let us thank Mary and Joseph for being faithful servants and trusting in Divine Providence. While they were incredibly blessed, they too faced challenges and so become the perfect example for us to trust in the Lord’s Mercy, even in the midst of our own challenges. Both Mary and Joseph had to adjust to a new life, one they did not plan and one without family near. I am pretty sure that was not their plan and although they did not fully understand both knew how much God loved them. Mary knew she was chosen and so she humbled herself to wait on God’s plan.
Are we this patient? Are we this trusting? Mary had to travel at the end of her pregnancy on a donkey, not in an air-conditioned SUV. And Joseph had to walk. Mary gave birth in a barn like cave, not a fancy hospital room. Both Mary and Joseph had to leave their family and friends and flee to Egypt to save her son. Then later they both lost their beloved son for three days. Even through all these struggles they continued to trust in God’s plan for them.
This brings great hope to all of us. Even when we have trouble discerning God’s blessings in our lives, we can turn to the Holy Family and remember we too are chosen. We too are loved.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! We have created wintry projects to share with you today – snow, sleds and mittens are sure to be found in our lineup. We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I decided to go super simple with snowflakes and joy! Because snowflakes always bring me joy. I used the Wintery 3-D embossing folder and the joy from Merriest Moments!
I used Stampin’ the Stampin’ Cut n Emboss machine to emboss a panel of Balmy Blue with the Wintery 3-D embossing folder and cropped the greeting with the small banner from Stylish Shapes and Dies. If you have not added these amazing die to your crafting collection, now is the time. They are definitely my go to dies.

I added a small panel of white to both sides of my snowflake panel and attached it to the card front and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the greeting. I know it is super simple, but I like how it turned out. And now that the holidays are almost here, with our crazy and busy schedules, I thought perhaps we could all use a little simple!
Do you have a favorite Christmas stamp set? I have really been enjoying creating a variety of cards using the Christmas Season and Christmas To Remember stamp sets. I am really going to miss these. If you have not already added them to your Christmas crafting collection, there is still time. Both of these sets are featured in the 2022-2023 annual catalog.
My card creation today is a bit out of the box. Instead of using traditional colors for my card base, I went with Gray Granite.

I also used Gray Granite and the Fern 3-D embossing folder to add a layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greenery was created using Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulents inks. I used the dies from the bundle but if you don’t have these, you can always fussy cut with your paper snips.
The berries and the greeting is stamped with Cherry Cobbler and cropped using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added the Fern layer to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
